Why doesn’t Drakes music have replay value anymore?

Square biz. Like if I want to listen to fake shyt, I'll watch wrestling. I mean I get it, music is creative and yes artists fabricate a lot of shyt like busting guns and having 360 walls, but the brick is so high, dealers selling rat poisoning calling the shyt "loud and proud". We are in the worst inflation that would make Jimmy Carter become atheist. Why would a breh listen to Drake's bullshyt, when they can barely get out of bed due to crippling depression.

How can you be a "bad bytch" with a Cashapp?

How you can dance and get turnt to Afrobeats when the opps in the shiesty's plotting to kill you and post it on some dark web social networking site?

We are in the WOAT time to fabricate because illusion is becoming reality. We are looking at empires crumble in 4K with good bandwidth. In the immortal words of some Detroit dude that's scared of a nerd:

My wife don't like my album, it's way too dark for women
She say it sound like I hold grudges
She rather listen to Joe Budden's, no disrespect aight?
But fukk a party now and everybody like...
There's a line between making shyt up/exaggerating and being a complete facade or fraud.

All artists, novelists, memoir writers, etc embellish and make shyt up.

But this guy Drake had a "deeply personal" song called "know yourself" that another man completely wrote and performed for him to just do karaoke cover of and pass it off on his own.

He’s been running on fumes since he dropped Views. No nutritional value as far as his music is concerned. Just the typical playboy shyt of being the best more then everybody and how everyone hates him along with being heartbroken from past relationships.

His last album with serious replay value was Views, but a lot of you are capping by saying he's been washed.

Her Loss was his best album in about 5 years, and a better rap album from front-to-back than just about anything that anyone released post-2020.
Take care is still on the charts 13 year later, people just be saying anything without any facts.

He's still lit out here but it's over saturatIon. Nikka has put out 4 albums, 2 EPs and a collab album since 2020. Let alone the features and one off singles drops. He hasn't taken "a year off" since 2019 and even then there was a compilation, EP and singles.

Some people think it's due to his label deal that he's incentivized to keep dropping.

And he hasn't really grown much as a character in his music. His persona hasn't changed since Scorpion/post-Pusha T beef. If you gonna consistently drop, you gotta have new angles and experiment more. Which I why I did enjoy that dance album.

He still seems as popular as ever. I like some Drake songs here and there, but he doesn’t make music that is conducive to being timeless.

For one, the nygga can’t sing. Shytty singing doesn’t age well.

And as mentioned in this thread, he makes souless microwave music

I think he's dropped way too much since 2020.
If we're going by replay value, it's hard to care about anything he's made since like Scorpion, tbh. Sure, his new shyt tops, but yeah, once that run is done you're not going back to it.
Her loss wasn't bad though. I think he just needs like a year off or something.

Let Yashawa or whatever the fukk Mos Def calling himself explain it better:

Dude damn near had a Vietnam flashback

People got mad at Def, but he wasn't even saying Drake is a bad rapper.
Even Jay-Z blatantly told on himself that he's made dumb down music, but that doesn't take away from his real crafts.

Drake got washed in this last war against Kendrick, and his last couple of albums have been soft, but he has some certified classic club songs that can still be played.

Actually, this war may be his saving grace because he was about to fall off by the looks of it, but if he put some substance together, he may bounce back because he can't make all those songs as he used to ...

a more mature drake could actually lengthen his reign IMO
