Why doesn't the NBA network have good original content like the NFL network?

The NFL network has so much original content which adds to the league and the overall knowledge of the game. They have things like Americas game, NFL Top 10, A football life and etc.

When I was younger and getting into football I learned a lot by watching shows like that. I would've never learned about so many of the older players if that content hadn't been available.

The NBA network should be doing the same. There's so much stuff the NBA network could cover, but they simply don't

I was watching All or Nothing with Michigan, then went into all or nothing with the Cowboys this past weekend and it hit me that it's almost impossible to make bad football programming. Friday Night Lights (show and movie), last chance u, Friday night tykes, varsity blues, playmakers. Football programming is A1 can't miss.

I dont get why people complain about NBA TV. It serves its purpose, has games and highlights and sometimes when I turn it on during non primetime, theres a classic game on. Sure it could be better...but that can be said for pretty much any cable channel in 2018.

No there isn't. And football has better characters, more and better conflict, more stories. It's just a flat out better television experience
