I often wonder the same when I read some things on here.
I can appreciate brehs like a woman who has meat on her bones and looks durable, but there seems to be something in our culture which is encouraging sisters to overdo this perhaps.
Because I'm not gay, I obviously won't see a very shapely and meaty lady like a man would, but when I see a lady who is very big, I do wonder about her health...this also includes the ladies who are not necessarily overweight but who are having modifications done to their body to create these abnormal proportions.
The older I get, I realize
health is really the thing we ought to prioritize over all others because it literally affects our ability and the quality of opportunities related to our ability to interact with the world. Many things we experience and produce in our life is, to a high degree, a consequence of our level of health.
I'm still holding extra weight from my last pregnancy a few years ago and I'm now having health issues I had never experienced prior during any point in my life, and I wasn't heavy before. So, I can't imagine how the ladies who are shouldering way more pounds are managing on the daily with simple stuff we take for granted like walking or breathing comfortably. I imagine you get used to it but it might make you feel restricted in your skin.
Also, my prior time in the military often makes me think in a 'readiness' mode, and sometimes my initial thoughts when I see sisters who look hampered by their weight is if some SHTF fukkery popped off unexpectedly either in their home, community or, hell, even this country, they would not have the basic ability to run from it, literally. Every time I see a twerk video, whether the dancer is large or small, I'm wondering if the lady has the same physical endurance to run for her life over a notable distance if she had to...
It's not just them though; it, again, may be a societal issue. Subconsciously, many of us are operating maybe sonambulistically, as if something random could not happen to bring daily life as we know to a halt.
Investment in looking good versus being healthy seems to be something which can only exist within the confines of human civilization because, in nature, the creatures and organisms which are not physically well do not survive. A lot of our human lives seem to be fashioned to make us think we exist outside of this natural law...
