No. American immigration is NOTORIOUSLY difficult. It's a lot easier to be a refugee/immigrant in Canada than it is in the US. A lot of folks ran up to Canada because it's a lot just to claim asylum status and then get your citizenship like three years later than come to America and try the same shyt. Them nikkas ICE throw people in detention camps with the quickness when they catch them without papers. Trust me, I have fam from Eritrea trying to get asylum waiting to be granted. It's very hard. They've made the system even more difficult here. And yes, people covet American citizenship. It's hard to get a fukkin green card. You wonder why people get married to US citizens? Or get it through a close relative?

Just stop it. You're even using terms like "y'all" and "homie", black American slang terms. :what:
Clearly y'all have influenced popular culture, however that doesn't mean we have nothing of value to contribute to a conversation on it. This is a rap forum, of course I use slang terms :what:

And a big resounding NO to your immigration theory. I chose Canada and so did all the immigrants I know. Some of em passed thru a few places before landing here including the states. There is absolutely no mass consensus on immigration here being a second option to the states. That's absurd. I have turned down jobs in the states. I have no desire to live there.

The constant ridicule on here of Canadians is clearly ignorant. Most of the comments that pass for jokes are quite telling of the gaping lack of knowledge, esp among bottom feeders like flea.

Anyone who is riding with these clowns when they spew their ignorance is dumb by association.

Whether the discussion is black Americans vs Africans vs Carribeans or Canada vs US its all the same type people arguing for separation. The misinformed and uneducated. If it bothers y'all so much to interact with Canadians then I'll fall back. I started posting on sohb in 2001 been a fan or rap since I lived on the motherland but some skinny jeans wearing 90's baby is gonna tell me I don't know nothing because I'm north of the border. So if lived in Wyoming or Minneapolis I'd be more hip hop than Toronto by default based on y'all logic.

Good to know we politic with idiots on the regular. I'm done. Y'all can have your forum. I'm a lurker from now on...

Don't play that game now while Canadians was up in here making light of black men losing their lives to police brutality. African Americans always gotta take the high road huh? :comeon: @Poitier feels me on this.

I don't care for Canada much myself. Metropolis then miles of nothing, high taxes on everything, shifty healthcare with not enough specialists, shallow, fake people who don't feel comfortable speaking their mind, Rodgers cellular service, Quebec and all those arrogant froggies and a silly ass government structure.

The difference between my Canadian wife's family and friends and anyone I have ever known from the states is so noticeable it strikes me as silly that I ever fell in love with someone from that environment.

Montreal and Toronto are cool cities for sure though. Even Quebec City is a co visit.....but I'd only move there if a war broke out and I needed someplace to hide.

Don't waste energy catching feelings over this shyt. Like I said in an earlier post, the coli's "Murica fukk Yeah" brigade doesn't have any power or influence. If they're proud of being ignorant, just laugh at them at move on. If the US president, had a problem with us we'd be in trouble, but as far as I know, he doesn't. Don't fall back from posting just because a few ignorant posters don't like you, it's not that serious. We don't even get it that bad compared to other groups anyways; women and white people get it alot worse.

If any Canadian posters made jokes about African American men getting killed by police, that's a shame. But if you're gonna thrown insults at someone, don't act surprised if they hurl insults back.

I personally don't have any issues with African Americans, I've met quite a few and we always got along fine. I have American relatives and the thought of them being murdered by a heavy handed cop scares me to death.

I'm not too fond of American white people though. :manny:

Yet our cities are consistently ranked as some of best in the world. Topping the lists many times even. But I'm gonna take your token ass word. :russ:

What's wrong? U wasn't exotic enough over here?
by cacs. sorry but that doesnt impress me. like I said, great for family, but not so much for fun. and no it wasnt exotic enough for me, that's actually one reason, yes.

you clearly need to get out more.
Cuz Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto are live as fukk. You must not have travelled to too many world class cities. Cuz most american cities ain't even touching those three at all.
actually I lived in vancouver, and I've been to almost every continent on the planet. I'm almost certain I've been to more cities than you, and I dont even know you.....
I travel quite often, more often than your average human....

Im from LA and it smashes all 3 of your majors, sorry. There is a reason more canadians come to america, than american going to canada.

this year alone I was in Macau, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, and all of these shytted on your major 3 too. Sorry .

really is that why america is filled with immigrants esp mexicans who work and roam freely

its nto EASY in canada, the mass immigration happaned in the 70s due to pierre elliot trudeau that has since ceased. Trust me I work at one of the largest hospitals and every day families striaght from the detention center come in to get treated and go back.

its harder to get a green card yes than cdn citizenship or permanent residency, but to live as a undocumented person its easier in america
