Yup. A couple times in my life, friendship turned into fukking, and more than a few some confession of attraction came from her later. Ive been in that situation, and it blows. I as a man look for the exact same attributes in a female friend as i would a girlfriend. You might think that befriending a frumpy chick who enjoys dbz is safe, but when you see her in her element, she mouthing the words to a book shes reading, or twiddles her thumbs when she is nervous...that kinda shyt goes from unremarkable quirks to endearing traits REAL quick, and have you ready to bang her out and simp like shes an instagram model.

Ive never two-timed in that situation cause I legit want to be a one-woman guy, but your old friend can reminisce about the good times and suddenly shes rubbing your lap when you have another lady on your mind (been there.)
Easier to cut the old chick off and focus on the chick that wants to give and take just as much as you do.

Ain't got anything to do with infidelity breh. As far as that, anyone has the potential to cheat, and in that case the goal is to come out unscathed as possible, but that's a different discussion. Female Male acquaintances is very useful because at times you can get opinions from the opposite sex, get some wingwoman like brehs above mentioned, and just have a generally different vibe than being surrounded by men. The issue is when shyt starts to evolve.

Now we talk a lot of shyt about who we'd fukk and simp off IG and shyt, but emotional connections be real and when you spending time with someone who you actually connect with at multiple levels, shyt will start to surface, especially as you get older and realize its more to life than being shallow about looks. shyt gets real uncomfortable when thoughts originally were "she a cool homie to have" to "I think she have the qualities to hold me down", and it does happen, a LOT from both sexes. Once someone make that move and fail, regardless of what folks tell you, shyt will never be the same cause some feelings of resentment and uncomfortableness gonna be all around. The reason for no female friends is to avoid all that and keep shyt at face value.
