Im from another country. YES things outside of the United States matter to ME. I dont care that they dont matter to YOU. Worry about what matters to YOU and i'll worry about what matters to ME.

The tragic part is seeing what happens to college players once their eligibility runs out.
A top college team roster has about 60 players but only a couple typically make it to the NFL. Most of the others end up on the street since they don't even graduate.
They could've made more money trying other sports

American mentality breh if other countries don't like it then tough they not manly enough. They don't sit back and think hmm maybe it's such a stupid sport other countries don't wanna play or watch it. Hence why real futbol and basketball international sports.
And to the parity of the league if NBA was one game elimination okc woulda been in the finals and the heat woulda played the cavs and who knows how that game would go. So that parity talk is all bs cuz it's the same teams in the playoffs every year in the NFL

I get it. People here love american football. Im not bashing. Just saying it's not the same for everyone.
For example i often hear people say they dont start watching NBA games until after X-Mas or after the superbowl. See... the minute the first Pre-Season NBA game tips off im on it and the NFL takes a backseat.

I prefer the NFL because ofI NEVER UNDERSTOOD THIS.. FOOTBALL IS COOL N ALL, BUT THE NBA IS SO MUCH MORE ENTERTAINING TO WATCH IN PRETTY MUCH EVERY CAPACITY. ITS ALSO EASIER TO PICK UP, CONSTANT BACK N FORTH ACTION, AND MORE ACCESSIBLE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO PLAY. NOT TO MENTION, ITS A GLOBAL SPORT, AND AMERICA IS COMPRISED OF MORE IMMIGRANTS THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY. AS FAR AS MARKETABILITY, NBA PLAYERS ARE FAR EASIER TO SELL AS INDIVIDUALS, AND DEFINITELY MORE RECOGNIZABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WHAT IS IT ABOUT FOOTBALL THAT MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE POPULAR THAN BASKETBALL? IT MAKES NO LOGICAL SENSE.
(1) Less games, so, every game counts...I think it is bullsh@t to have an 82 game season, and then have 7 game series playoff...At the end of an 82 game season, it is pretty clear that the team that won the most games, is the best team of the season...
(2) A basketball game is won or lost in the 4th Quarter...All the other 3 quarters are useless, their only purpose is to extend the game...An NFL game can be won in any quarter...So, you have to watch the whole the game...
(3) NBA is a no contact sport, so, defenders are at the mercy on the offense...If you have a guy who can really handle the ball and shoot, there is very little a defender can do to stop him...Defender should be allowed some legal contact...
A tall non-athletic poosie who knows how to shoot can EASILY become a basketball GOAT (relative to other athletic sports)...
