1. less is more... why do i care if i miss 1 game if there are 82, or 162, or however many hockey got... why do i care if my team loses 10 games or 20 games if they can still make the playoffs being 53-20... why do i care about heir 20-0 start when there's 53 more games to be played and they could lose them all

but 1 win in week 1 could be the reason you don't make the playoffs in a tie breaker... shyt i might not even get to see all my teams games this year.. they might only televise 3... 0 if you shytty and you don't live there... i NEED to catch those games... they are ALL important..

then you skip to the playoffs and it's one and done... no 7 games... no losing 3 games then coming back to win 4 and a ring... nah you better get that shyt done tonight, no excuses



2. sunday... nfl OWNS sunday... ask any person what they are doing sunday and 99% gonna say something to do with football... you might be doing something at 1 and 4 but you still gonna be around for 830... you might have church but hopefully you out by 12 to see the game.... you might have something to do with the kids but you'll be home by 4:30 to catch it

you don't need to check any schedule... you don't need to guess what channel... you don't even have to care who is playing... the game of football will be on all day sunday from commentary starting at 6am to the last bit of highlights at midnight



3. parity... EXTREMELY important... the same teams been winning nba championships since the 80s... in that 30 plus years, you haven't had more than 10 different teams win... in the past 10 years in the nfl, 9 different teams have won... 17 in the last 30

see #1... they already halfway don't care about the first 82 games... now you telling me we don't even have a chance to win anything..



4. violence... if i'm watching the browns vs the 49ers it might be two shytty ass teams... but i KNOW i'm going to see someone get their chest caved in and some long passes and hopefully a nice run and some catches.. nothing in me wants to watch the sixers play the nuggets.... ever (and the niners and the sixers are my teams)
