it doesn't seem like lito tries to get that big feature stimulus package, the star power of his collabs have gone down too. i'm lookin at cold turkey/fried turkey and kevin gates/young dolph are all over them and he was getting verses on their albums too. now he's making tapes with trapperman dale.

nah when you first start hearing his voice, he does favor lil wayne till you get used to it. Then you start hearing the subtle differences.

I don’t know this dude Lito. But Nip was on some entrepreneurial shyt that translated more than his music, I feel like he got more notoriety for his $100 mixtape, store and community/business venture than his music. Breh dropped in 09 and wasn’t no one outside the west really messing with him until 2013 when he got on his business man tip and after Ross courted him and Jay Z supported his business moves. If this Lito dude moves the same, then but Nip had personality and moves that made him more interesting than just being a rapper.

but also Lito isn’t married to an industry chick and he hasn’t released a national album yet either...he’s regional.

he’s released plenty albums you can get on Apple, the issue is he doesn’t tour a lot nationally, and he doesn’t have a strong social media presence to draw in new fans, and push his brand, it’s like If you know Lito then you fukk with him, but not many new folks discovering him

I first heard Nip on the song hussle in the house then didn’t hear much from him til a couple mixtapes they were ok to me, but i got back when he dropped the first keys to the city track, i admire his hustle and drive so i like that but I’d be lying if i said i was bumping all of nip shyt but a few tracks I’ll bump, but a lot of his push came post death

Been listening to Lito since he was All Star and I love his music. He a legend IMO and personally I prefer his music to Nip's but that's just me. As far as the career shyt goes I could care less. I just care about the music and he delivers every time he involved with it (Don Trip, Trapperman Dale, Mob Squad Nard all make great music with him). He definitely has a lane which is more dark but more truthful (not throwing shots just saying how his music comes across) as far as day to day shyt, family shyt, street shyt, police brutality, and relationship shyt. He just hits you from all angles and he been doing it for years. Hell he just had a kid and pretty much dedicated a whole album towards it. He just aint marketable especially in this climate. Great track.
