These responses are exactly why I am ASHAMED of my people. No foresight. No planning. No unity. This is exactly why we're in the situation we're in now. You brothas have been conditioned. Even your conditioning has been conditioned.

If my theory the facts I presented sound good in theory then it would be beautiful in reality.

But it all goes back to your conditioning. You do realize the top programs used to not allow black people to play at all right? Once they started letting them in THEN the HBCU's stood no chance. But they could have shunned the white schools then and met them on the field. That would have completely changed the dynamics of college sports. The way it is now has already been established. What I'm trying to get you c00ns to understand is that if we stayed at HBCU's after integration, guess who would have been the powerhouses. Texas with all white players or Grambling with all black players? You talk about facilities but fail to mention that one of the main reasons white schools have better facilities is BLACK PLAYERS. Take all the black players and put them at HBCU's and FAMU dominates FSU. Southern dominates LSU. As such, the FAMUs and the Southerns would get all those millions that the FSUs and the LSUs make off the black players.

You talk about exposure and competition. Scouts are going where the talent is. Period. If all the talent was at HBCUs, then all the scouts would be at HBCUs.

You guys are talking about 2015 as if this isn't a century old system. Of course now it would be hard to get every black recruit to sacrifice and go to an inferior program but our failures began decades ago. This ties into that "Black People Are Cowards" thread. Insteada fighting for ours then and now, we just accept being accepted.

Like I said... 5 star thread but the c00ns are out in broad daylight. :camby:
So..........once again, what would you do to make the 2015 class follow your dream?

But what pro hopeful athlete wants to go through that in the hope that sometime in the future his sacrifices may somehow boost a whole collegiate program? :wtf:
You trying to convice 18 yr olds to mess up their chances at money and big time college experience in hopes that a movement is started that doesn't really have a chance unless 100's of others make the same move and won't even get into effect until he's long gone? Squander his shot at making it so other nikkas will eat in the future?

:whoa: You act like pro athletes didnt come from predominantly HBCUs in the past. And they had inferior equipment then. Would Wiggins and Parker not have been drafted if they were dropping 50 a night at an HBCU. They were the top prospects coming out of high school and nothing would have changed. Almost every game of theirs would have been televised, even at an HBCU. It would have been an enormous event. Im not even one to say its something they must do, but it would be great to see.

alright fam we're waiting on you. You lead the charge

I'm already an HBCU alum. :yeshrug:

I see you talking slick but not intelligently.

So..........once again, what would you do to make the 2015 class follow your dream?

Don't know what "dream" you're talking about, fam. All I did was state facts. Which of my truths do you deny?

....because......

These kids want to go to the league and get this fukking money NOW.

These kids are trying to play with elite players. These kids are trying to get the ball from, pass the ball to, set a screen for, get blocked by, ELITE players on camera with scouts watching on national TV under the lights after ESPN College Gameday does a special on their comeback victories and a Sports Science on their blocking ability, breh.

....while rocking Nike Combat jerseys with chrome helmets and coaching gods drawing up the plays....with Gus Johnson going apeshyt on their highlight reel. :ooh:

....and the p*ssy rate, breh. :smugbron:

There are probably more people at Grambling State that know who Jameis Winston is than people that know who the starting Grambling St QB is. :patrice:

@Jesus Shuttlesworth, please explain why 18 year olds in high school should pass up a chance to play at top tier schools when everyone knows full well it isnt in their best interest

Try not to use shaming language like "c00n" "ashamed of my people" "keyboard warrior" in your response

We can have a logical discussion

Black people have A LOT to fix in our community and culture before we could make HBCUs attractive.

You have a stunning lack of knowledge on how colleges earn revenue.

If Wiggins were at an HBCU and averaging 40/game and it was on espn, would you watch or not?

he would drop 40, play against bad comp, go into ncaa tourney and lose, then go onto the nba. what do programs do to get another 5 star player?

You sell the kid on becoming an Economic Mogul in his community. He will :eat: off the community he helped set up far longer than his playing career i.e. Magic Johnson (sometimes on a smaller level). His name will be over the head of banks, hospitals, hotels etc. and not just be a 'ball player'. We have to sell these kids the opportunity of becoming great Leaders of America...not just ball players. This is a mature approach & a cultural change that can happen if we executed it right.

please tell me you're not serious.

if these kids barely doing well in school (not saying all athletes do bad in school) but you get these kids who come to school to play football, get seen, and go on to nfl. do these kids all make it big in nfl, no. but they suppose to become these moguls when they barely wanna get the education.
will this kid be good enough that in 1 year turn a program around inwhich it would lead to more 5 star players bucking the system and going to HBCUs...no

You're thinking small scale. I'm talking about the history of college football. You're talking about 2014.

What you're asking is like asking why don't black people unite? That's a 4 century old answer, not a simple "do it today".
