:childplease: I'm very serious...they sell these kids on becoming NFL/NBA stars and how many actually become that? In my model you will get a quality education (black education as well) and even if you don't make it big...a networking program would be set up to where they would have an increased chance to gain employment after graduation because BLACK Businesses will hire you & this type of relationship would in tern increase the prestige of the school.

Its really quite simple...how do you think these PWC's got their reputation?
And you fukked up for thinking the majority of these 5 stars give a goddamn about an education.

Black education or not nikka :pachaha:

CNN: Some college athletes play like adults, read like 5th-graders - CNN.com

but you talking about them getting this great education and going on being moguls when it points to really some do not want it and have come to school to just play ball and major keep the dream of being a professional player alive

that's because the culture of what we are striving for hasn't changed. What I'm talking about is a entirely different cultural message being taught to our kids once they enter college. Plus, they don't have to be extremely educated to be a business owner or investor...they just need capital that is used the right way. The money will take care of itself.

These guys will be the OWNERS of their business...the extremely educated will be the CEO's ect. hired from the same colleges to run the businesses

But why should blacks prioritize HBCUs over schools like Harvard. Morris Brown collapsed two years ago thanks to to corruption and incompetence; how do you convince Andrew Wiggins (and his parents) to choose a place like that over Kansas?

Again, it's all systematic and has been for years. You're talking as if every college is brand new. HBCU's have had decades of futility so of course NOW they're the most unattractive. But what if players in the 60's and 70's said "fukk the white schools, we're staying with our own." All of a sudden Alabama A&M, not Alabama, has the powerhouse program and all the money and facilities that come along with it.

If we did that, the question would be "Why would Wiggins go to Kansas other than to completely dominate the sorry ass white boys at Texas." Everything would be reversed. But we chose the white schools decades ago so now it is what it is.

The problem is the same problem we face in everything. The problem is us. We lack ambition and unity and are far too okay with settling or just being accepted.

not really, and it can be a way for blacks to still go to PWC's colleges with my plan as well.
PAY their family out of POVERTY!!!
I'm talking about Millions, not no 100,000's because that is what the PWC's are making off of the backs of blacks week after week in those schools

FAMU's old gym:

FAMU's new gym after 2 tourney trips, financed entirely off basketball revenue alone:

You guys don't understand that winning=money and black players= winning?

So you're saying the facilities came before the star recruits? Bro the people you're in here calling c00ns have been saying the same things. Just a quick look at the wiki page (and you can confirm this because wiki can be janky) says a major donor made this happen (another thing the "c00ns" in here are saying that needs to happen more). That's just one step though. It takes a collaborative effort from all alums. TSU has a newish basketball facility as well and it's empty af during games. How is FAMU's fan support? Is this a normal representation of games (fwiw literally the first image I saw was this)?

If so alums need to better. Basketball isn't a big money maker either but at least with a successful program it can possibly sustain itself. An hbcu will never "move up" the ranks without a strong football program but a financially viable basketball program in theory could take some pressure off of alums so that they can focus on financing football as basketball supports itself.

If you have any other info on the construction of FAMU's facility please post the info. I look forward to your response and I promise I'll get to it tonight when I have time.

those aren't great teams & black pride is very low right now. This is how stadiums look when you have star great players & pride in the schools

Facilities before star recruits? I don't remember saying anything like that. Those are words you just made up, not me.

I said WINNING=MONEY and BLACK PLAYERS=WINNING.

I'm not 100% sure of the specifics as far as financing but I am 100% sure the school paid no money. The state paid no money.

As far as your question that didn't pertain to me, in this case, yes, the facilities came before the star recruits. I was a student at FAM during this time. They sucked at basketball. The first year they made the tourney they were dead last in the MEAC but got hot and won the conference tourney. With that trip came a boatload of money and probably donors too.

But again WINNING=MONEY and BLACK PLAYERS=WINNING.

Take every black player off UConn and send them to Lincoln or something (not even sure if they have a team lol) and UConn is NOT the national champ. As such, UConn does NOT get the money and support that comes along with it.

This is pretty basic and factual stuff. I don't get what you guys don't get.
