Great thread. There's more to it though. Social intelligence is a large part of what makes people come off as weirdo. Switching subjects at a weird moments, having jokes that people don't understand or worse, using references thinking everybody will get them when they're very niche, are things that makes people come off as weirdos because they demonstrate a lack of understanding of social dynamics. Especially the last one. A lot of time I saw people that were considered weirdos try an obscure joke/reference with weak energy and no eye contact, and then having to explain it on some "oh, it's from an anime/a sci-fi movie/a game called blablabla " and people hitting them with the

I'm gonna add my twist to this. I've always believed dating is like sales. How this detail ties in is that you need to be in tune with your customer.

Are there girls who like anime? Yes.

Will the vast majority like anime? Probably not.

Unless you know for certain a girl like a niche topic, stay away from it until she gets more comfortable around you.

lol i should have explained i dont go to clubs full stop, havent been to one in over 8 years.

when i did when i was younger, it was more grinding on chicks and 2 stepping with drinks than people living it up on the dancefloor. if clubs were more fun like dancing, not just looking for a mate and get drunk then i would probably go.
