Here's my thing. Even if you assume Putin is personally directing all of these leaks, it doesn't change the information in the leaks. The info is either verifiable or its not. If its verifiable, I don't give af who released it or their politics for doing so. It doesn't change the information. People dismissed Snowden's NSA leaks and deflected like crazy. Same thing is happening here.

I thank Snowden very much for exposing that the CIA has the capability to defeat encryption. Thats very sad news for the public. The right to privacy has been eliminated. Congrats?

never debated the content. I'm debating the purpose and I have some reluctance in exchanging one country's propaganda for another.
I have double amount of reluctance and skepticism when that is combined with information to legitimize one side in the process. The biases of some posters here is obvious for one side or another. There are a few people here who I believe or legit for all information to be publicly available and providing critique of american institutions and are intellectually honest in their belief.
There is another segment of posters who only seem to be for this information when one side benefits.
I'm liberal and voted democrat in the past, but at the sametime, when snowden dropped information implicating the Obama administration and NSA under Obama indiscriminately spying on its citizens, I personally thought it was a good thing.

@Behelit Check out Michael Hastings. Its still a conspiracy theory at this point and Hastings died in 2013 but there may be more to the story than meets the eye. Not going to claim this as truth but theres more smoke to this story than usual, especially given the current leaks. His wiki makes him sound like a perfect candidate to get CIA'd.
