:childplease:

Take Care is Drake's best album and that's not fukking with C2 or C3 or C1.

To be honest, they're not really comparable because their styles are so different.

They bring different shyt to the table.

Wayne albums and mixtapes > Drake's so far

Thank Me Later wasn't that great in hindsight...just a bunch of dope singles tbh.

Drake is winning in the department of features right now...but it will take years for Drake to surpass Lil Wayne
In your opinion...In my opinion you're opinion is shyt if you thought Carter 3 was good.

Carter 1 shouldn't even be in the conversation, no one gave a shyt when it dropped, people were still ridiculing the corny washed up child rapper and rightly so.

Carter 2 was cool same way Fabolous Real Talk was :lolbron: Some classics, some bangers, decent effort.

I can't fault someone who came up off snap music thinking Lil Wayne was a genius, but for the rest of us shyt like ''Lil Wayne in his prime was only second to Big and Pac'' is laughable.

if she wit me you know something in dat hoe bra, she's a foreigner so she say coca
I wanted to make a thread back in the day how. Lil Wayne in his prime was only second to Big and Pac. Wayne's peak was better than Jay and Nas :manny: .

But of course the stuck in the past 90s constituency wouldnt agree. But if you factor ALL that wayne did between 06-09. There is NO living MC that had that type of run.

i had said wayne was better then big imo but the shyt dat wayne drop now make it hard to justify it

To stay on topic, drake is bigger than Wayne is now.

Well, good thing you didn't make that thread, that's absolute nonsense, come on nicca :what:
Jay and Nas in 2001-2003 were much better than wayne's "peak", nevermind circa 94-96 (nas) and 95-97(Jay).

90's Nas maybe.

Jay no.

Till this day, I still havent heard a rapper exude such absolute raw energy, talent, swag, charisma, delivery all in one in this song.

And this aint even his peak song in that era.

Wayne was fukken 23 when he dropped C2 and 25 when he dropped C3 :wow:

nikka we bussin', and bussin', to the bang of buss
No, we don't run for the Olympics, but the flame with us
I got that tussin', that scummy, and that angel dust
So pick your high, I will supply in correct changes, what's up
We bring the bussin', we bussin' like this thang for us
You nikkas is sleeveless man, you can't hang with us
I got a bytch who speak Spanglish
She keep her bangles danglin'
And the cocaine is right up in her anus
Old Wayne is right up in the spot where he supposed to
Be, got Hova at the game and now he coachin'
Me, but I've been the champion, happy as I ever been
Lampin' in the Hamptons like, what the fukk is a hammock
The chef up in the kitchen like, what the fukk is a sammich
I'm like, we gotta find middle ground, we need balance
Challenge me, that be to my advantage
I'm outstanding, like standing outside up in the twister and walking not damaged
Standing outside up in the blizzard and walking hot handed
Serving nicklebags in Iraq, bet I will not panic
Swerve the nickel black, if I wreck, bet I will not panic
Cop another one the next day and drive it crazier

The seats will be lazier, shyt'll be gravier
Nina Sarafeena my girl, so then I baby her
Wavin' at her at 2 crazy, Fugazis, I'm too brazen, 3 brazees deep
We got .380s and P80
9s, 9s, M-10ss and M1s and 12 gauges

Shell cases, money put up for jail cases, bail make it
My momma say, tuck your chain son, they'll take it
I hit her with one of them stale faces, like
I'll be down momma, they know who I am momma
I'm still your little boy, but to them, I'm the man momma

fukk with your boy, man Hollygrove the hood, nikka
Throw it in your face 'til you get that understood

It had to be the drugs man. This nikka Wayne was spitting like a fukking superhero :to:

And when you factor in all the styles, flows, experimental shyt, trends that he set off. Its almost insulting to even assume that there is another rapper breathing that did what Wayne did. Look at all the successfull rappers in the game right now. They all have Wayne DNA in em. shyt Future is jus a taller version of auto-tune Weezy.

AGREED

Wayne started the autotune craze in hip hop

made it cool to sing (people dissed nelly ja and 50)

wayne used to talk-rap, nursery rhyme rap, and do all kinds of crazy shyt, man

this nikka was so popular, he made a fukken drug cool

he made a rock album and went gold

he dropped a plat album from behind bars lol

everyone jocked the martian flow and wayne used to alter his voice and talk in a rasp, rap in french and patois...:wow:

2 chainz, future, drake, nicki, migos, kendrick and so many more are obvi influenced by wayne

Nah, I think he ca reach a Eminem, 50 Cent type level on the mainstream....

But I don't think he can't get to that point that Wayne was at, where the streets and the mainstream was fukkin with him.

His mixtape run up to Amilli was :wow:

And then he hit it outta the park (on a mainstream level) with Carter 3

drake has sold less than 5million albums :bryan:

EM has sold 100mil

50 sold 30mil

hes only 95million behind EM

and 25mil behind 50

yeah he has a good chance of catching them :ld:

where you from? C1 had the HOOD on smash. its what made people respect Wayne...as a lyricist. BM JR was that shyt in the hood. you must be a square suburban nikka

C3 was good -- ask any critic. it just wasnt that hood wayne we all wanted, but he had to change and it paid off.

Wayne is way better than FAB when it comes to dropping complete albums. FAB's albums sucks but his lyrics and mixtapes are the shyt. im not from the snap era...im 25 --- i was bumping pac, big and bone thugs, cash money and bad boy as a younging...i know my shyt despite my reputation on this website.
