Wayne's peak song to me

Dude blacked.

But I never thought he was the most talented emcee during his 05-07 run though. Lupe, Budden, and Phonte, and Clipse were better on the short list. He was just the most accessible to the mainstream and put in alot of work which could be an argument for being the best I guess.

Drake's not the same kind of rapper he's more of the "artist" type that Kanye is. The suits can try to market him as a battle emcee type and he can drop a hot verse but his skill is in crafting good songs and singing dope melodies.

I'm more surprised he hasn't turned into a complete pop star yet so it's cool to see him still keep it hip hop.

Breh, if Wayne didn't flood the streets for 3 years, He could have had so many 4 mic albums. Maybe even a 5.

Real talk, Wayne had the biggest buzz outside of maybe 95 2pac leading up to all eyez on me. Other than that no nikka's buzz was even close to matching Wayne's. Not even 50's 03 buzz. I mean, do you nikkas understand that Drake and Nicki are direct results of Wayne's 05-08 run? I went from not caring about the dude to a full blown stan in that time span. Da Drought 3 mixtape is probably my favorite mixtape of all time because he was just spitting his ass off on damn near every single track.

Bodied that shyt.

Nah, I think he ca reach a Eminem, 50 Cent type level on the mainstream....

:what:

Drake will never be on that level. I don't think you understand how many records they sold. Either of them cats outsold Drake's whole discography with 1 album. Wayne, who at his peak was far bigger than Drake, didn't even go multi-plat until damn near a decade into his career. There's very few rappers that are on the mainstream level of a 50 Cent or Eminem.
