Y'all gotta get outta your feelings. We get it. KD disappointed America somehow by not going to Washington. KD realized it's a lot better to be called a hoe than Mr. Unreliable. He realized OKC blew the best shot they had last year though he had a major part in that (anyone who thought OKC woulda been a threat to GS this year was wishing on a star). If it wasn't KD it woulda been some other star and fans would still cry.

If they didn't have KD, many of you would have believed OKC with KD or a healthy Spurs team could have beaten them, so they needed KD just to get to the Finals, let alone win it.

KD is not "the guy" in GS
KD getting a title gets the "never won a title" off his back but I don't think it helps his overall legacy because of how he did it, fair or unfair that's how he will be judged. Him leaving a team that was up 3-1 in the WCF to join the 73 win team that beat him will always have an asterisk
There's always some bullshyt caveat. Media and fans want the athlete to do what they want them to do and they don't get it done that way, they shyt on them. When the athlete decides to do things his way and puts himself, in what can be perceived as a better position, guess what? Fans and media still shyt on him.
