Shes one of the good ones guys but has weird thoughts about gender roles because of her pops. From what ive seen pops has played for the family. Which i dont think is a bad thing but has led to unrealistic expectations.

And this is the problem. My dad (and mom) let me figure it out. He allowed me to use common sense and problem solving skills that he knew I’d need in life. Once he realized I couldn’t figure it out, then he’d step in.

I grew up a spoiled only child but my parents knew that the outside world would not treat me the same. Sorry to tell you this but she’s been conditioned not to figure shyt out and wait for someone to save her. From that little story I’d bet she has no survival skills at all.

I kinda agree with your thread title. You just gave a bad example. I think her lack of owning up to shyt has just built up, and now the smallest things are clouding your judgement.

OP story hits home I’m in a similar situation as we speak. I say girls do take responsibility but they do not correct the behavior and learn from the mistakes.

My ex girl crashed my whip TWICE since July. First time she crashed it and said she got in a little accident and the car is fine. I asked if she filled out a report and she said nope. Then come to find out my door is F U C K E D U P. I didn’t even try to claim insurance I just took the L and kept it moving. 3 weeks ago she gets in ANOTHER accident Once again she hit me with the ‘it’s just a little fender bender ‘ I don’t even check right away this time and smoke a chill out blunt so I don’t Ike this woman. Take my dog out and a nikkas whole fender is GONE. Mirror dangling. All that and once again no police report

Turns out for the better because I able to finesse the insurance company to make it seem like both accidents happened at once

Moral of the story is hoes are dumb as shyt and do not listen

Yea ive helped change tire, change oil even walked her through insurance issue after accident. She was scared to touch anything near the engine but i gave her options because my hands were tied while i was at work. Bottom line we have this underlying issue where she believes she isnt responsible for certain things because shes female. Other than that we have a good relationship.

I agree, only trying to figure out whether you take care of routine issues, like oil changes and such or does she take her car to get serviced.
