That’s exactly how it was when I was there. Nice and one in 5 Minutes I’m in the hood.
I was told it was because there was nothing downtown, and they built up the inner harbor in the late 80's, early 90's, but they didn't put money into the neighboring areas, and we know why, that means real work needs to be done. You can't make some place look pretty, but not change why it wasn't pretty in the first place.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.

Only thing I will say is I wasn’t too scared to walk around. It has a dense city look that made me just want to walk around.

Above the fray.
:what:
A certain “segment” of y’all on here are starting to look and sound real funny in the light these past few days... interesting. It’s almost as if.. nvm..
:jbhmm:
yes, because seeing kids attack innocent people and pointing out that the world be better without them is looking funny in the light.

I got a warning for the post, but I stand by what I wrote.

Atlanta metro is lovely and gorgeous but the inner city of Atlanta is not that gorgeous or lovely at all.

And I’m being fair because Baltimore is a east coast city and we do not rep “metros” on the east coast. If you live outside the city limits you are not part of the city period.

With that being said Baltimore has some nice ass burbs outside of its city limits.

I’m aware. There are mostly nice parts of Atlanta. However Baltimore is mostly bad.

Baltimore is the roughest city Ive been too. Never seen a downtown that goes from nice to literally dilapidated and abandoned buildings just a block from each other. Went to camden yards then walked back to my hotel, and North Howard street is
Howard St used to be the shopping district back in the day they say. A whole lot of department stores. Black folks couldn’t shop at all the stores tho. After integration they all slowly closed up. When I was in hs it was nothing but spots you could get gold teeth, pagers, and mixtapes

No excuses for attacking random people , call me a c00n but I hope they all get locked up.

I was at Inner Harbor with my niece when the protesting started for breh that got kilt in the PaddyWagon.

95% were peaceful but sone were throwing shyt and busting out store windows.

I have empathy for the situation but I was concerned for my niece and other lil kids walking around. There was an event at the aquarium so there were lots if families with kids walking to the hotels.

The the BPD blocked off 83 north and south so no one else could enter the harbor. :snoop:

It was crazy trying to get out the city and drive morth.

This is a prime example of teens with no outlet for all that energy. This is purposely done btw. Close down all the after school programs, Rex leagues, open runs. Kids gonna want to be outside getting into shyt next thing they in prison.

I used to take my creep chicks to the harbor allllll the time. Never had any issues but this is wild.

I could be stepping out of Norma Jeans and get KOed.
stayin my ass in on that note...them skrippers will have to wait

Come on, you moved out in the burbs to give your kids a better education. Stop it:mjlol:
Do you know me?? No. One thing that I do stress is education. They had that whether or not I was in the city or not, bc private school was my go to. The schools out in the suburbs where I’m at are not highly ranked, or countywide are not meeting averages, idiot, which is why I chose private school. I live in the burbs and still chose private school, 30 mins away from where I live . Imagine that...high median income and half a mill and up houses but the schools are shyt. So that blows your theory out the water. And for the record, the public or private schools in the city that I chose had programs were more culturally diverse and gave them the academic support. I’m not with the “white is right” mentality and they will never be in majority white populated schools, despite what you think.

Baltimore is a shythole by every standard, don't know why I'm even arguing with you, idiot.

This.

And to whichever “mod” gave you that warning, kindly go choke on an AIDS infested tranny dikk. You stated your opinion and that is all. The “mod” who issued that warning is a bytch. The lowest of bytchasses. The type who abuses their position just because they don’t “agree” with someone’s opinion, just because said opinion isn’t popular.

Offending Mod, if you’re reading this:
YOUR MOTHER SHOULDVE SWALLOWED OR YOU TOO.

Maryland is actually one of the best states for black people, it's just that Baltimore is a shythole. :francis:
MD is dope to me. Im from Jersey City. I went to college at UMBC. Finished school did JC living/NYC work for 7 years. I definitely left Jersey City/NYC behind for Silver Spring/DC life. QoL here is better IMO.

Never even considered moving to Baltimore tho. Lets keep the shyt real here: beyond a few pocket sections, Baltimore looks neglected and abandoned. This whole thang is merely a greater reflection of the results of the neglect and abandonment.
