I think this sentiment that a few others expressed is ignoring how big Wu's influence is. Wu were probably the biggest inspiration on the whole underground hip hop movement in the late 90s right up to this day.

OutKast had a big influence too but it's tough to name artists that copied them compared to Wu who have a million copycats.

Outkast got too many gay-ish sounding songs that I can't stand like that fukking "Roses smell like poo poo poo" and a lot of weirdo shyt cause of Andre. Wu kept it thorough, no goofball shyt and definitely no weirdo/homo type style stuff that Outkast has done.
