I’ve actually seen crawfish boils where they do all this except the oranges. That’s a new one but everything else is pretty normal....

I think the ice is to cool the water down immediately so the crawfish don’t keep cooking while the fire is off and to make the heads soak up the juice faster.

This is a Cajun variation however I've never seen orange and ice. That was weird. I have seen mushrooms and that shyt is good when added. :noah:

Me too

But I don’t really COOK it... I’ve been apart of them but I guess you can add what you want in them as long as you got the right seasoning.

I just know the corn, seasoning, sausage, and potatoes are standard. I’ve seen lemon and oranges though.
