I would say it’s less this and more of the fact that just like music, everybody and their mom is a video game dev now because the tools to make them are so much more accessible

You already know why they hate it. EA, Ubisoft, Sony and Nintendo all have subscription services. Gamefly also exist and you don't see any real post bemoaning any of those.

Ps plus is also value destructive, its why games don’t get “Greatest hits” collections anymore

Nintendo is the only one being semi-smart about it by only offering retro titles

It's just the cool thing to shyt on Xbox since the disaster launch of the Xbox one.
They subscribe to PS Plus Netflix and Spotify but when Xbox does it oh now that's different

After this showcase it seems like Microsoft is throwing everything under the sun at gaming. Putting they games on PS5 to sell more games on Console. Xbox handheld for portable gaming, and Xbox PC to get share of the PC space.

We’ll see how this plays out.

Lots of cool announcements.. So is Xbox Cloud its own thing now? Grounded 2 looks good. Excited for High on Life 2 but no gameplay smh. Felt like some stuff was missing... Is this the entire year or is there another showcase coming. Some of the games and announcements needed dates and pricing. Xbox ROG is exactly what I'm looking for. If there's no Steam Deck 2 coming I'll probably get that. Overall, a decent show.

It's hard to make the argument something is destructive and you're against it while you participate in it and elevate it. Go back and check who started the thread on Sony's alleged destructive service you say you're against as you make post about which games to get on their service next.

Those services aren't attempting to be an everything streaming service like Gamepass is pushing to be.

If everything becomes day one, who's purchasing shyt outside of streaming serivces.

It's great now, but no, I don't want Nintendo/PS/Xbox/Steam to run the market with streaming services.
