And back then, videogame systems wasn't costing as much as current and next gen systems. So warranties wasn't "expected" or even the norm for a console. Because of this, if you didn't get one from funcoland or wherever you got yours from? You'd be short. As in, you just paid $300 for a broken system. So many people was screwed out of there money because I worked in a videogame store at the time. Watched the systems pile up in the back, was told by the sony rep that sony knows of it and is not gonna speak about it which pissed him off. It rubbed me the wrong way too, so I got an xbox. Once my 4th PS2 died I was done. I did get a PS3 tho, Love Uncharted. Love Xbox more tho

this is a hard sell for Microsoft after all the shyt they pulled they couldn't afford to do this. now many people who were on the fence about buying the Xbox One are gonna not because $500 is just not a price cheap console gamers are gonna be willing to pay.

It's not just that...factor in the taxes...extra controller.. Xbox Live Gold fee...plus a game..that shyt gonna be over 900.bucks...

I don't have a tablet, gmail, goog set or any of that stuff.

Truth is my brother did get me an iPhone, it cost him one dollar to add to his plan. I`m sure it has some invasive stuff to it, but nothing is seeing this new XBOX shyt with the 1984 Kinect

Dead Rising wasn't even impressive to me.

Honestly this is the one gen where the graphical leap really isn't that impressive at launch.

The games did look better, but only marginally.
