They went from selling a console at only a $500 price point to bundling games and selling it at $350. Obviously revenue is gonna be down.Xbox One and Xbox 360 revenues were down 24 percent year over year during Microsoft’s fiscal third quarter, the company reported today.
Doubtful. Microsoft has been in this game since 2001 and their brand that they nourished for over a decade can't stand on it's own. The only way a company breaks into this business is when the company of top fukks up and gives up market share to them.If they fall, another will take their place. It always does.
The market itself doesn't need 2 separate HD consoles. Some sensible gamers might like the competition but the market wants to converge on a single platform. That's why there's almost always a huge gap in sales between number 1 and number 2 in sales.
