The naming of the console is what fukked up Microsoft in the first place.People say give Xbox time in the next 2 - 3 years they will be better. Microsoft skipped a number in Windows 9. They could skipped the number 4 to match Sony 5 for branding purposes.

Apple also skipped iPhone 9 and dropped iPhone X.

Microsoft's problem is they don't give developers a chance or creative freedom. It's making the same game year after year and when the 3rd game flops that studio is shut down. Sony on the other hand gives way more freedom. Guerrilla Games would be making Killzone 6 under Microsoft, but instead we getting Horizon 2.

Microsoft doesn't care or they're completely incompetent. There worse off that the Xbox One. Literally no reason to buy the new Xbox unless you want to play old games

Love playing the Series X but my friends and family only ask me about the PS5 I copped and "how did you get one?"

Half of them didn't even know what the X looked like.

The PS5 has the unique look, the previous gen dominance in exclusive titles and massive hype. Xbox has to deliver on the exclusives. GamePass is fun for catching up on games but it's not quite a system seller if a breh can only choose one console.

They need some hits and they need them soon....otherwise this console war will be over before it starts. I want PS to stay sharp and that is more likely to happen if Xbox is competitive.

I want Xbox to be competitive to. The last 10 years I been wondering what the hell they been doing. Xbox and Xbox 360 had so many heavy hitters. Splinter Cell, Gears of War, Halo, Fable, etc.

Fam, it already IS. Halo being a hot mess and getting delayed and multiplats going in favor of the 5 along with the goodwill from the previous gen. It was never going to be a real war. shyt was common sense. And cats be like Halo coming next year acting like the PS lineup and exclusive train gonna take a break.

If MS bows out, I'm sure another company will step in. Would Apple be willing to join the fray? Nintendo and Playstation aren't going ANYWHERE.

If anybody I think Valve or Amazon need to jump in. The steam machine failed, so Valve may not be too good, but Amazon got the capital and I think they can be competitive against Sony.

The only time xbox came close to beating sony was the 360 because sony came out a year later and the head start was too big

Halo will probably be the only big release for them next year, it's accepted xbsx not getting anything good until 2022

That's too big of a lead to sony by that time we will have ff16, horizon ratchet and gow sequels and multiple game award

And than gta will be a sony exclusive timed release, that's gonna be the nail in he coffin. Gonna have to cop the 5 to play the new gta..gonna be over

Now is actually the perfect time for someone like apple to come in and enter the game market cause it's over for Microsoft
