First of all, Shanny did not name Purdy the starter right away, he was coming off injury. Secondly, you're fine with someone (even us) throwing a bag at Darnold but you take issue with someone paying Purdy? Makes zero sense. It's a crapshoot. Darnold may have "figured it out" or it might just be one good season in a vacuum.
