Just wait until GTA7 then the PS6 Pro with PSSR 4.5 and 10 years of PS+ will all be worth it

you're the perfect consumer. Good at consuming. fortunately, you arent tasked with running a gaming company. the ones that are clearly have better sense
I don't know whether or not these nikkas are trolling or are really that stupid because the reasoning in this thread is terrible.
These nikkas is asking for 1000 dollar plus consoles and 100 dollar games
I think they really retarded for real so we got to take posts with that realization
You go right ahead and be a fool all on your own that's on you...
Justify buying a $1,000 console w/tax possibly with no built-in disc drive and very few games to play in the first year of the life cycle and potentially technical bugs. A lot of folks out here struggling financially and there is no telling how much worse this economy may get by 2027 -28.
A $1000 consoles may seriously backfire in Sony & Microsoft faces respectively.
If you go by their logic then there shouldn't have ever been a reason to upgrade past the 980. Typically most new iterations are more advanced and cost a bit more. It's just unfortunate that we're in the midst of a hardware constraint. As PC gamers they should know that prices ebb and flow and consoles components are more in line with PC hardware then ever before. I don't think the console will be $1k but if it were to be due to the economy it's not a bad deal for the alleged specs you're getting lol. But it burns them up on the inside for some reason they still can't explain lolIf the hardware lasts until 2035,
What exactly is the problem?
Nobody has answer the main question.
should just bump it up to $1 a day. $3650 console is a good valueIf you can't afford to pay 0.27 cents a day for something then you have bigger problems than playing video games. That's like giving up a bottle of soda a week.

If they came out with a $3650 PS6 and it had games I wanted to play on it I would absolutely buy it without question or complain at launch for that price. People pay that for RTX 5900s easily. Now if it was 5-6 years into its life nah I'd have to pass.should just bump it up to $1 a day. $3650 console is a good value![]()
Agreed.Apparently the next xbox is only 15-25% stronger than the ps6. Suppose that turns out to be true, the only way MS is going to justify the price is by the next xbox really being a pc with all the features of a pc that can also play previous gen and next gen xbox games with a console ui and form factor. That way, they would be a very enticing option for pc gamers or people who want to become pc gamers for the first time since according to rumored specs, the next xbox would be a prebuilt top end pc that is significantly cheaper than other top end pcs along with a next gen cpu, next gen ram, and very serviceable gpu.
it's absurd to act like there's no difference in paying $50, $100, or $365 a year, because they're all 'affordable' to youIf they came out with a $3650 PS6 and it had games I wanted to play on it I would absolutely buy it without question or complain at launch for that price. People pay that for RTX 5900s easily. Now if it was 5-6 years into its life nah I'd have to pass.
If it gets 10 years that's only an average cost of $365 a year. I blow more than that in a couple of months on bullshit
Console makers don’t make hardware expecting the actual console to last 10 years. Hell the warranty is only a year. It's not that $1000 is bad it's that people don't think about the long term value of the purchase. If paying $1000 and getting 10 years that's a good value but all the average person sees is $1000 and a good portion of people don't live a life where that kinda money is easily available for a discretionary purchase.
these dudes also know they're gonna upgrade to the next thing the moment it releasesConsole makers don’t make hardware expecting the actual console to last 10 years. Hell the warranty is only a year.
I’d be willing to bet less than 50% of the consoles at launch will still be functional 10 years from purchase.
