People do put waaaaaay too much energy and emphasis on sex. A lot of negative consequences do result from being sexually irresponsible. As a kid and young man, I thought it was cool and I was all for the free for all. However, as a grown man I can see there is definitely a such a thing as too much. I have worked with kids for years and you would be amazed at how casually so many of them, as young as 12 or 13, view sex.
