so i watched the first episode. It was fire. I got to watch it again to completely soak it in, but here is a few initial thoughts

: my only complaint and its is a nitpick, too many of the Anglo males have low speaking voice to appear gravely, otherwise 4/5

:The most compelling story line of #Yellowstone is how the daughter and the foreman got "together", more on that later
:they did what I have been complaining about the entertainment industry for a few years, they actually played cowboys vs. Indians

@FlyRy @HHR @MartyMcFly @hex @Dominic Brehetto and @ whoever else I'm forgetting.

You guys need to get on this ASAP because this was crack. I love the setup of having a threeway conflict with no clear "good guys" in it, and it perfectly utilizes the paradox of a modern day America that is still run by old cowboy laws so the depth is here too. Plus Sheridan continues to put a strong focus on the mistreatment of native Americans, which hopefully will leave much of white America mad as fukk.

'In case you didn't already know, there's no such thing as heaven.' Coldest line of the episode.:ooh:

I saw the AVClub didn't care much for the first ep.

I'm still gonna peep soon cuz I love sheridan. I got the paramount network app on my roku ready to go.

Plus after tomorrow's Westworld I literally have zero shows I'm currently watching. I may also use that time to catch up on the last 6 eps of Handmaid's tale S2 .

Who the fukk cares what the AV Club thinks in 2018? :russ:

If you asked me to say one "bad" thing about the ep, it's that despite being a movie's length, it's not on the level of any of the movies Sheridan has been involved in. Which is more of a reminder that this is only the beginning of a story.

I read the avclub review, they hate the shoot the horse opening scene and a lot of those in the next two episodes is like that

I just read that part. They completely missed that when they pan to the revolver, it also clearly shows the horse's bloody leg being struck through the trailer so it was crippled.
