But this guy and patty mills will be something to watch for in the coming years after pop gets a more time to mold him. The fact we have a d league team to send him to when his minutes dwindle is invaluable as well

They'll most definitely resign him especially with Parker on his way out. Spurs can offer him the most too.

Pop is a system guy and Mills is perfect in that system. Unless CP3 is walking through that door, they can't afford to lose Mills; well unless Murray shows he can handle it.

This is good long term for the Spurs, get him some real playoff experience before he will actually be in this role in the future.

Myles Turner has gotten a lot of playoff experience in his two seasons already and it has helped him a lot.
