If there were any two players who could emulate jordan and pippen...it's going to be Kawhi and Dejounte...

Dejounte has a ridiculous amount of basketball talent...just one of those guys you can watch for 5 minutes and know this dude is going to be great...

He been putting in work already cause he is noticeably bigger and the form on his jumpshot is so much better...

Patty one of my favored spurs ever...shame he going to be forced out after this year...he's a lock to get those backup point guard minutes next year and a lock to start the year after that...
@duckbutta on his usual Spurs propaganda bullshyt. :hhh:

All I know is if you engage this dude in a game of horse you're going to lose and you're going to want to throw hands afterwards.

Spurs win.

It's kinda like how TP was in his rookie year in SA. Obviously he isn't playing the minutes a rookie TP played but you can tell the Spurs are a different and more athletic team with him on the floor ala like when TP was a rookie. Gotta let him play and get through his rookie growing pains (like TP), and Murray will be fine.

Yea, Patty is all but gone amd we will miss his clutch and precision 3's but I bet that his absence is softened bc i bet Bertans and Forbes are being groomed as our sparks off the bench

Yea Murray has some growing pains he was lost a lot on defensive assignments but man his upside looks huge once he gets the hang of the game tho
His size will be a serious problem for other teams
Keep working on his shot with chip and better passing the ball at times when pressured cuz he'll pass it real low I notice and player cant get a good first shot if they want too
Otherwise I'm happy
Sucks bout patty cuz I love him
But he needs the mins a lot
Bertans needs the mins and some damn weight or muscle looking like a kids tale where a wolf would blow his ass away
Forbes played Better so we have our options for replacements just need the mins to burn is what it comes down too
Kyle has played hella better defense I notice and offense seems to come along with his aggressiveness needs to keep that up cuz he is bobble head length is a issue for players I notice

He should've been the PRESENT. Not sure why they're riding TPark out so long. Let him be by his boy Manu on the bench.

They're certainly not gonna beat Houston or GSW in 7 games without him

Parker still understands the nuances of the game...i do think after manu retires parker goes to the bench

The potential is there but he has a lot of work to do, the offensive highlights are cool but what he provides there won't make up for the holes in other areas of his game.

In particular, if Murray was the starting point for the Spurs in a series against the Rockets he would get absolutely demolished by Harden, and Houston's style of play in general would really give him a hard time.

Right now I feel like his ceiling is a 2014 Jeff Teague, not his skillset but the level he can get to. He might be a top 10 point guard one day but he will never be in that top tier.

I'm waiting for Malik Beasley to get his shot, I still think he'll end up as the best guard in the class.

Murray/Bryn Forbes should be our starting backcourt before too long. Bryn's jumpshot is water

All 3 of our rookies (Murray, Forbes, and Bertans) should be starters within two years

I think it is pretty much set in stone that...

Mills is gone after this year...

Next year Parker starts and Dejounte is the backup and depending on how Dejounte plays he eats into Parkers minutes, kinda like how dedmon does pau now in crunch time...

Next year Forbes gets the minutes Dejounte is getting now...

After next season Parkers contract is up and lets just hope he retires or the front office quietly pushes him out the door...

Dejounte is the starting point guard

Forbes is the backup point guard

I don't ever see Forbes being a legit two guard for us...he only has been lately cause manu and simmons have been out...at 6 "3" he is just to small and the front office has made it a point recently to get larger on the perimeter (kawhi, simmons, starting anderson at the 2 guard to start the season, etc)

If I had my way we would trade mills now just to give dejounte his minutes...his play style is going to lead to some ugly games so it's just a matter of when you want to get them out of the way with...

Kyle has played just well enough the last few games to stay on the team but dude is never going to be anything more than the 13th man on the roster...

Can't see forbes cuz Simmons would be a priority over him
Bertans ain't happening cuz lma
Murray I can see
Forbes fits the patty role
Simmons can back up green or start over him once he gets consistent
Kyle is kawhi backup and our manu if he keeps his improving
Bertans is our Bonner on steroids and won't start till lma leaves or declines enough which I can see pop getting a veteran in starting line up seems content with Bertans on bench
If u notice pop starts people he sees the most potential in
Could of easily started patty but didn't did Murray Cuz seems to made up his mind bout him as the next pg

You say Murray would get washed by Harden but i mean....Harden washing EVERYBODY and plus he wouldnt guard Harden, that would be DG and Kawhi's assignment. Parker should be coming off the bench but we cant have him and Manu in our second unit, we'd get KILLED defensively and wont have that scoring punch or athleticism in the back court
