I havent watched anything but the PPV's in about a year so I cant act like im the loop like that....but I mean aint shyt really changed. I wanna say though Sasha was excellent in NXT, but I hate this womens revolution shyt. The matches on NXT had way better work, less insane risks and got over way harder. Of course character wise they killed everyone on the main roster, Alexa was the only chick who managed to stand out. And even if she is wack now....they are all wack so whats the difference.

I really dont get how they got 25 writers and every character on the show is terrible.
The writers they get aren't great to begin with generally, but even when they are, the system they work under is fundamentally broken and not conducive to producing quality writing. They work under insane deadlines, are subjected to having their work changed at the whims of Vince, have to fit in all the corporate speak that Stephanie demands even though it means none of the characters talk like actual people 90% of the time, rarely get to directly interact with wrestlers and are often resented by them, and work under the constant threat of being fired (turnover is super high in WWE). That anything worthwhile gets written in their system is a miracle.

I do wonder if NXT's creative being better generally means that these problems don't exist.

I'm still waiting for that memorable Sasha promo. Yeah, she doesn't believe in her character but should she be phoning it in? You all shyt on Ziggler for the same shyt. She basically stated she was resting on her laurels until the heel and who knows how that will even turn out. She's not wasted at all. Shes's never looked at as nothing less than a big deal in the women's division. Maybe not being used to her full potential is a better phrase. Now I can understand the three or four brehettes here that dislike Bliss. It's never going to sit well with black women that a bunch of black men are lusting after a typical blonde haired, blue-eyed chick but the hate from the dudes is extra moist. You all judge Bliss like the bar is high for women wrestlers in the first place.

To be fair, WWE kind of invites that judgement on her. She's been a champion for 90-95% of her time on main across both shows and they're always talking her up on TV like she's this amazing in-ring talent (the commentary last night was ridiculous). Sure it's a work, but you do it long enough and eventually people are going to put the talent under a microscope.

It's the same thing that happened with Reigns on a smaller scale: a talent that was getting over organically was given more than they were ready for too fast and it overexposed their weaknesses. Course, Reigns had other factors contributing to the general audience turning on him. In Bliss' case, people haven't turned on her, but there is definitely a growing disinterest.

I don't dislike the girl, but I think it's time to pump the brakes on her push a bit. She's not yet ready to carry a division, and her long reign has done more harm than good on Raw.

I'm going to sound sexist, but it's the womens division...nobody expecting crisp shyt from them. They gone botch. And botching and injuries is a shytty excuse if that why they buried her, because at one point so many of the men were injured they prematurely called up guys like Apollo and Baron. So everybody was getting injured. If anything they didn't want to have two black womens champs at the same time. Cuz Sasha and Naomi pretty much been cookin at the same time. Can't have black women dominated on both brands. Gotta get another Hart vs Flair feud that does nothing for Nattie or Charlotte. :mjpls:Paige can be out here with ADR while he shyttin on WWE and she making pornhub tapes and come back to her spot like nothing happened. :gucci: But Sasha with all her good looks and marketability and good matches gotta be on the back burner for Alexa boring ass. :francis:

I agree with OP. :manny:

having her tap with one second left in that Iron Woman match is legit one of the most brain dead calls I've ever seen :what:She should've taken her ball and went home after that :pacspit:

- tap'd with 1 second left in that Iron Woman match
- KO'd by an exposed turnbuckle at mania
- KO'd by the TOP ROPE (:dead:) in that title match against bliss

you can only have so much idiotic booking and goofball finishes before people stop caring.

Ya know I understand all of that, and yet nobody has an actual storyline. Even if they have to fit all that BS in, its still embarrassing that every angle is 'i wanna win the belt!' There is no TV show with more stale writing than this one. All the promos are generic 'I will win because Im a good wrestler!" I cant believe this shyt is even getting 2.7 million people.

If I knew most of the shyt I wrote either was going to get rejected or changed at the last minute, I wouldn't feel compelled to write anything worth a damn either.

Though, I think what you're talking about is more a symptom of them not caring to create stories for anyone but the top of the card guys. Everyone else is just there to fill out house shows/kill time on TV.

Again, I really wonder how things work in NXT because most of these problems don't exist. They're perfectly capable of creating stories and characters for people who will never hold a title before being called up.

The bar is high with Asuka around. Best female performer of the last 25 years. Asuka is a whole different level..she slows down kicks and strikes and even transitions because nobody can keep up...Moon barely could and she's an athletic freak. It's not only comical to compare Alexa to that but preposterous.
