How is the boyfriend's dignity destroyed, if he doesn't know he is being cheated on? Now, if he knew that he was being cheated on, but chooses to stay with his cheating girlfriend, then I would agree with his statement...
Only thing a person will learn about someone who is deceitful is that said person has integrity issues and more than likely morally bankrupt, plus said person is a coward.
Cheating is a choice! It is also a selfish choice because if the cheating person wants to fukk multiple people, then said person could easily let the significant other know that he or she wants to see other people and will see other people.
From there, if the significant other is cool with it, then cool. If not, then the significant other will move on and the cheating person will no longer be cheating because he or she is now a free agent to do whatever he or she wants..
Another thing the side person may learn is that the cheating person isn't trustworthy, so it may be in the side person's best interest not to get emotionally attached to the cheater and definitely not get into any type of committed relationship with that person.
If the cheater would cheat on his or her current significant other, then more than likely, said cheater would do the same to the side person.
Lastly, it's not a gender specific phenomenon. There is a lot of women out there who are loyal. I would say that the majority of women who are in relationships are loyal, almost to a fault..
It is perceived that women are better cheaters because they are presumed to be loyal by nature, when in reality, they can be just as flawed as men when it comes to fidelity/infidelity.
In conclusion, thinking all women is one way based on the actions of one woman or a few women is childish, IMO..
Everyone should be judged and held accountable based on their own individual choices and actions. Nothing more and nothing less!
