City >>>>

Close access to the subway system is invaluable, I did suburbs to get more sq FTQ but my lifestyle suffered, shyt so spread out, stuck in traffic half the day, tolls, shyt shut down MAD EARLY, far less options food, culture, entertainment wise.

fukk a piece and quite, giver options and convenience.

Lived in the City since I was 8 years old.. Wouldn't be able to deal with the quietness of the Burbs, or the inability to walk out of my house and hit the town and be within walking distance of so many different bars, restaurants.. movie theaters etc.

The burbs really don't have any character.

I'm from Pittsburgh, grew up in the suburbs, lived in the city for almost ten years on my own and now I live in the fukking hood in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NYC.

I hated the lack of character, personality, the class BS, the latent racism, the whiteness, the uppity attitudes, the in your face overtly religiousness, the conservative lean, the fake smiles, the strip malls, the ugly buildings, the corporate culture, the ungodly worship of sports (from childhood to adulthood) and as a black/Nigerian/west indian (first gen) American, I absolutely hated the lack of diversity.

Sometimes, as much as I cherished growing up and having a childhood that had great education, a safe environment, and a very promising and providing atmosphere...I resent that bullshyt especially now as an adult cause I think about how much better off I would of been mentally and physically if I could of grew up in a place where I could of met more black people like myself and not feel like a token/loner for the majority of my formative years.

fukk THE BURBS. DEAD ASS.

THISTHISTHISTHISTHIS. I hated moving out the city and I still do from a culture standpoint.

Funeral you're too real breh. F the burbs. it's for the :mjpls: low key.

Problems with city life is that it's harder to own assets to pass down to your kids. Plus I love driving around.

You can offset it. Lotta people in the burbs pay car notes and $200-$300 in gas, registration, auto insurance, maint.. I can get around the city for 120 x mo

For some that's a lot of money that can be utilized to compensate for higher cost of real estate in order to build equity

I love to drive around and I move around a lot OUTSIDE any city area. Plus I rather have some peace and quiet.

Diff strokes. I went for the suburban life. Not for quiet but for a Newer,Larger space. Hated it. Hated the commute, got sick of driving EVERYWHERE. Hated the generic ass food options, shyt closing early, paying tolls etc etc etc.

I found myself wasting hours of my day commuting and was miserable

Everyone should experience both TBH....depends where you @ in Life and what you're into.....

@ the moment its all about the burbs....House...driveway...open streets....

One day I wanna experience Island Living or Rural living...feel like that's more retirement vibe
