I've been trying to get the original version forever can anybody hook a brova up
i seem to be the only one who preferred this remix over the original
Don't know how long this'll stay up............you're welcome.
I just got my japanese version of Ready To Die with the samples still intact. But yeah back in the early aughts, bridgeport music filed a lawsuit against puffy for the samples on Machine Gun Funk, Ready To Die - Title Track and Gimme The Loot, the thing about was, Puffy could have easily won but just didn't give a damn for some reason.
this is why physical music >>> streaming
This is why I’m glad I bought the album.
Same thing happened to the title track's hook.
I'm lucky my older brother had the OG CD.
Yeah that Biz Markee lawsuit combined with the Low End Theory killed the Bomb Squad-style sampling overnight and honestly the game got better for it. You got more focused and creative tracks with only a couple samples to work with.
Yo that article had me peeping some of Mo Bee's sample flips and this shyt is just RIDICULOUS
They did to Ready To Die what they did to Ozzy’s Blizzard of Oz
What'd they do to the latter? Lemme find out Ozzie was sampling. lol
Yeah, mayne...this is THEE WORST.
I'm going through this with a lot of music right na...I had a bunch of my music in my trunk, and my whip got stolen. Trying to re-collect all the stuff I had, I'm finding that a lot of stuff from this era must've got flagged the same way.
I bought Mark Morrison album again, and damn near the whole album is completely different from the OG classic.
This is why owning music is important. Streamings good for quick listens, but ultimately you're going to want to actually download and own that music. The song could go missing at anytime for any reason on streaming services.
Naw just a lawsuit:
Fixed for me
