I saw that the original version of this album was hosted on the Archive, but not this one, which contains uncensored versions of some tracks, and some tracks with the original uncleared samples. A cool piece of rap history.

Don't know how long this'll stay up............you're welcome.

The hook sounds like sh*t and boring - and the WORST thing: the remastered version is the only streaming version of the album on Apple Music. Thank GOD I still have the MP3s of the OG in the cloud. :smh:

I guess it was some sampling issues?

I just got my japanese version of Ready To Die with the samples still intact. But yeah back in the early aughts, bridgeport music filed a lawsuit against puffy for the samples on Machine Gun Funk, Ready To Die - Title Track and Gimme The Loot, the thing about was, Puffy could have easily won but just didn't give a damn for some reason.

someone gotta ask easy mo bee

cuz he talked bout how the sampling laws in 91 changed his production style..

Yeah that Biz Markee lawsuit combined with the Low End Theory killed the Bomb Squad-style sampling overnight and honestly the game got better for it. You got more focused and creative tracks with only a couple samples to work with.

Yeah, mayne...this is THEE WORST.

I'm going through this with a lot of music right na...I had a bunch of my music in my trunk, and my whip got stolen. Trying to re-collect all the stuff I had, I'm finding that a lot of stuff from this era must've got flagged the same way.

I bought Mark Morrison album again, and damn near the whole album is completely different from the OG classic.

What'd they do to the latter? Lemme find out Ozzie was sampling. lol
Naw just a lawsuit:
In 1986, Daisley and Kerslake sued Osbourne for unpaid royalties, eventually winning songwriting credits on Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. Subsequently, a 2002 reissue was made of these albums which replaced Daisley and Kerslake's original bass and drum parts with new parts recorded by Osbourne's then-current drummer Mike Bordinand bassist Robert Trujillo. The 2002 reissue also included new backing vocals from singers Mark Lennon and John Shanks.
