Where are the Luthers, Regina Belle, Teddy P, Peabo Bryson, Lisa Fischer, James Ingram, Billy Ocean, Phyllis Hyman etc....

All the current r&b artists are either singing like they’re rapping, or have whispery voices or don’t know how to carry a note live.

To take things a step further, I really miss SANGIN' groups. Back in the day, I could play some 112, Dru Hill, New Edition, Ruff Endz, SWV, Blackstreet, En Vogue, Jagged Edge, etc. when I had a girl come over. In my Dad's era, he had The Temptations, The O' Jays, The Whispers, The Isley Bros., etc.
I hate that times changed and everybody in groups wanted to be a solo star (and try to keep all of the music money for themselves).

nothing uplifting or pro.black about the world

i don't look to music for that type of edification

my own meditations & thoughts are what keep me up & focused on the people who matter in life

that is not the job of an entertainer.........entertainment is synonymous with distraction it's just something on the side for me
