similar thing happened to my bestie. he was desperate for a relationship after breaking up with his ex last year so this year he was on all the apps going on hella dates. he matches this one girl who was ok. takes her out for dinner (also mexican food), goes to the parking lot and slobs her down. he got a "thanks for a good time" text, then a few days later she explained that the kissing was too much/didn't do it for her or some shyt like that.
i told him she probably just used you for food (i was trolling him), but maybe the kiss actually did get her off the fence in regard to potential luke warm feelings for him.
sometimes a kiss will do that

but then a few weeks later he went with another match he got and now they are moving in together lolol. hope it works out

idk what i would read into her liking your social media stories because im not on social media. but i do keep in phone contact with old guys that i thought were cool. it's not cuz i like them and regret my decision...... its cuz i think they are cool lol
