I saw that more as Noel being more committed to the team defense plan. If Mitch wants to start he needs to do what Thibs wants him to do. He can't just bank on proving himself a better player overall if he can't be trusted.Being able to pop out for a jumper is big but I though Mitch was slightly better on defense because of how disruptive he is (Mitch's talent on that end is incredible). Regardless of who starts though, it's nice to have 48 minutes of elite rim protection out there, it's a great luxury that most teams don't have. It's a lot easier to play with trust in your teammates and try and make plays when you constantly have a defensively elite big man behind you.
