I could see that.
I imagine the starting lineup might remain the same, with Burks and Payton's time being cut for Rivers.
Likely keep the same bench, but give Quickley some burn in the slot Bullock got used.
Keep a primary 10 man and then swap in as needed throughout the preseason before tightening the rotation in the regular season.
As much as I hate the Payton/Randle combo, I hope hey keep RJ as the lone young starter for a bit. That spot can allow him to grow as a leader and hopefully demand the ball more from the vets - can also let us know if he's up for the challenge of that role - if he's really the franchise, Payton and Randle's trash brand of ball can't and shouldn't stop him from becoming that.
Let the other young players play and develop together and build confidence against other teams 2nd unit and boost Obi's confidence as the leader of the 2nd unit and respect of the other young players.
Groom Obi and RJ to be leaders separate from each other and then bring them together.
Hopefully eventually swap Rivers for Payton as a starter and eventually moving Randle, DSJ and Payton to free up some of the logjam nd allow Quickley to get some burn later down the line.
Then do all that but still be in it for the Cade/Suggs/Boston sweepstakes and go from there.
