knicks aint winnin da draft so stop dreaming
That’s the thing about Knicks fans.

They hope the lotto balls save us.

They think hoarding cap space for big FA’s is the wave when it’s clear this team doesn’t have the foundation to attract guys.

Instead when you propose trades or signings that would improve the team they get shot down.

Knicks fans want home runs they don’t want to hit a double. They don’t want to score on a sacrifice fly.

BRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKLLLLLYYYYYNNNN
His rookie year wasn't that great though. :ld:
All he did was show some potential as a spot-up shooter. Doesn't pass, defend, rebound and hand the ball well. Doesn't have a defined position (too slow to guard threes and too physically weak to guard fours). Poor basketball IQ. Somehow, he got worse during his sophomore year and has no single NBA skill that he can hang his hat on. Knox made a little marginal improvements on defense and as a passer, I guess. I'm not getting hyped for anybody not named Robinson, Barrett and Toppin this year. :manny:
So you're saying trade him and keep ya boy Frank? :picard:

Knicks need to work on the rookies they have now, not named Frank. There's potential already there. When those guys develop and they acquire other breakout stars potentials during the future drafts, stars will want to come.

It doesn’t make sense to trade anyone. The roster has depreciating value. Better to try and develop all of them and in the case of Frank sign him to a decent deal.

Like it’s hard for me to think Frank and Thibs can’t work well together when Thibs had Ronnie Brewer and Keith Bogans in his tight rotations.

Obi
Barrett
Robinson
Quickley

Those guys should be the priority in order to accommodate them to play at their highest level they need to be surrounded by shooting, defenders, and playmakers. So the Knicks have to pull trades and spend not hoard on good, complimentary players.

Once Barrett and Toppin look like studs and Robinson and Quickley are solid role player and you have those solid veterans around them, then you can attract All-Star players to sign here.

Signing good useful players is attractive to All-Star FA’s as is culture and organizational stability and continuity.

The Knicks are not doing that trying to be “smart” with this revolving door with this revolving door of reclamation projects with the saving grace being well at least we paid below market value and we still have cap space. U hoard cap space and are afraid to use it and u stockpile picks and are afraid to trade them for assets.

The Mavs sucking and the Knicks getting a high pick is a pipe dream. Luka can carry a team with without KKKristaps and they improved their defense with their acquisitions.

Them nikkas sucked they capped the Bulls potential we don’t need that

I dream of a young Rose playing in spacing :blessed:

you think Thibs cares about spacing :beli:

:skip:
You ain’t going to like what you see this year. I don’t even think he’s trying to do half court sets and is telling them to defend and if they get a steal/rebound score in transition.

It makes sense for a young team, you expect to coach for a while, but lmao at spacing.

Black Porzingis? :ld:

I had limited viewing on KP so I can’t really compare them as prospects beyond a grain of salt. But this dude looks more fluid as an athlete and that makes me more comfortable about his health (when KP was a rookie I remember thinking they should bring him on slowly for fear of him breaking down).

He showed more :manny:

We know Kev has length and a pure jump shot and at least saw some nice improvement as a weak side shot blocker and passer :manny:

Those type of performances were anomalies, but yeah, he's showed more, but that's not saying much.
Those type of marginal improvements is as impressive as Frank's improved scoring "efficiency." :mjlol:

Will have to agree to disagree. He had a decent rookie season & showed flashes which is why we all expected him during his 2nd season to make some sort of leap but he regressed. Some of it was coach/staff changes & the blackhole Dubious but he needs to work on his game. He's shown way more than Frank who's passive, doesn't have a great handle for a PG, & can't knock down wide open J's when he's had more playtime & even started games

Knox had an awful rookie season and played okay in December. They've both had to deal with playing under vets and poor coaching, but ultimately their bad individual play falls on them. Knox started every game and played major minutes as a rookie year entering the league. He better have decent games once in a while. Shown way more is a stretch, because he's been unplayable for the most part in the last two seasons.

So you're saying trade him and keep ya boy Frank? :picard:

I don't care for either player. There should be no :cape: for either of these scrubs
