I believe in economic independence and empowerment + fair treatment within the legal system for blacks.

her point of Alexandria Ocasio is misrepresenting herself. she lied about her family being working class because her Dad was a well-off architect. Atleast, he was well off enough to afford a $400k house in a suburb that is 88% white. Even if she continued living in the bronx after her parents' divorce chances are her Dad was still paying a decent amount in child support and alimony.

I personally do not think it matters much, the average person from the hood will never be able to gather the resources needed to win a major political office.
