Where’s Josh Rosen right now?

This might be it

Everyone isn’t Rich Gannon and Jim Plunkett
We are talking about the Jets in their history of poorly developing quarterbacks. I’m not sure if youve watched Sam Darnold the past couple of weeks.

The quarterback position is situational. I don’t have all the answers to the quarterback and don’t pretend like you guys. I went ahead and asked people who put quarterbacks into big-time schools to give me more insight. None of you would be even talking about the OC in here until I introduce that as a part of the discussion. This team does not know how to develop quarterbacks. When folks are annoyed by an interception, I’m looking at the intermediate and deep routes that are being called with receivers not even coming back towards the quarterback who is scrambling for his life. The Jets don’t even have a scramble drill in their offense.

This was all season long.

That first patriots game with Zach through his second pick of the season, he escaped four defenders before throwing that deep interception. Not a single receiver was within 20 yards of him. This scheme that he’s playing in is complete and utter garbage. So no. You guys don’t watch Jets games. You certainly don’t even discuss football mechanics, foot work, scheme and different things.

We don’t have those conversations in here so anytime folks like you get confronted with it, it’s a smiley fest. So of course I’m going to look over the top or stupid to some of you. Many if yall really don’t discuss the minutia of football in here And when it’s introduced to a discussion, yall rabble rouse.

The people I defer to when it comes to this game are more than proven. Those people arent in here.

It’s not about being on my level. i’m in here talking about the term “off platform throws” which is new to me in terms of what young quarterbacks are into these days because I’m not coaching young quarterbacks. I go to the ones who are actually doing it because I see that there’s a problem with someone’s foot work. Apparently, this is starting to be a major problem with quarterbacks who are coming up. I saw it with Zack early last season where he threw a ball in the dirt and when he came back from injury, he corrected himself. So yeah… Let’s not just simpleton state that somebody stinks discussions. There’s a little bit more detail when it comes to a sport of football, ESPECIALLY the qb position. I’ve watched my daughters godfather spend three meticulous years making sure that he is putting his quarterback son in the right situation because the wrong situation at that position ruins everything. It’s never as simple as “this guy stinks.” Why do you guys reduce the game such a loud mouth, rah rah its either this or that level? Its broader than that. Especially when we are talking about the NFL where we see some of the most unqualified white males in leadership positions Who have 20 years under their belt and still stink. A lot of these quarterbacks come into those fukked up situations

I’m not afraid to be wrong about an athlete. But damn… The game is never as simple as some of yall make it.

You trying to make me feel bad for being a Jets fan is pretty irrelevant. But the way some of you guys discuss football in here is really simpleton breh.

Zach Wilson is playing for a poor offensive coordinator who cannot coach him or anyone up.

Stop babying people. All you do is baby these players.

You don’t know what he has inside of him. Does he have the toughness? Does he have the toughness and skill to be able to perform even in chaotic situations?

Nobody knows until they see it thats why teams miss on Quarterbacks ALL THE TIME

You continue to root for this stupid ass team and lecture everyone about this guy.

Even Steve Young is pretty much done with him

Nobody knows how he’ll end up but right now he’s GAHBAGE

I just want to say Sam Darnold still sucks. A little purple patch doesn’t change that.

It’s not about babying. There goes the labeling again.

It’s not going to work for him here. This is a toxic quarterback organization. I came to that realization a long time ago. If he feels and performs poorly in the next place, then it is what it is.

But he is not the only one failing playing for the Jets.

What am I to think when I see an offensive coordinator call this twice all season For a team who is now 30th in red zone scoring? I’m sorry… But this is not a quarterback friendly offense. You cannot properly gauge a quarterback playing in fukked up situations. I have been watching the game too long to ignore what I see as a reality at that position.

Smelling a lot better than when he was playing here. He never went for a straight games without throwing an interception as a jet.

This organization cannot coach quarterbacks man.
Oh 100% we are awful at that, no disagreement there.

Multiple things can be true..

I been watching a long ass time as well and I told you from the gate this dude was not gonna make it

The really good ones show you even in chaos that they are no joke

All that shyt you said about the offense may be the case but Zach Wilson still is small with no shoulders with questionable intangibles

Listen… He may very well srink. But this organization is not the place to determine that.
