Sure, ambition and drive can take someone far, but the system we live in isn't built to reward merit or talent equally, it's designed to concentrate wealth in the hands of a few. The reality is that for most people, opportunities are heavily shaped by factors like privilege, background, and access to resources, none of which have to do with their individual worth or work ethic.

There's no such thing as a "self-made" billionaire. That is a myth that ignores this systemic imbalance. When people rise to the top through exploiting workers, evading taxes, or raping the environment, they aren't creating real wealth, they're extracting it. And people like that shouldn't be allowed to exist.
The system is flawed due to racism, oppression and the rich staking laws. That is separate from the actual system itself. The actual system of unlimited opportunity is better than socialist garbage that essentially says everybody get to eat Lobster 24/7. Especially those who don't deserve it, don't contribute or barely contribute economically.

A billionaire is not obligated to fix problems. It's nice when they do, but it's not a requirement.

The stupid statement of "there should be no billionaires" goes against economic piece of the term "free society". The point of making money is to be rewarded for your labor/talent, etc. Saying "you can't make any money anymore" for your continued labor is leftist/socialist authoritarian garbage.
Yeah but if that rugged individualism doesnt make society on a macro level work well, then that is a problem that should be logically rectified.

I think being able to work up to say...making 100 million or 200 million, should perfectly satiate any "need" of feeling "appreciated". While maintaining "ambition" or drive amongst individuals.

But at the same time, not allowing resources to be hogged by one little ape that wants all the bananas.

Do you think one ape hording the resources is a net positive on a macro scale? Or are you just an individualist?

Every time this gets said, everyone points to random millionaires and success stories like they want to take your wealth away.

They don't

We're talking about billionaires who have enough money for generations to come, and do not pay taxes cause the system is rigged

And as usual, their cheerleaders will happy defend them free of charge - it's wild

They make no sense other than pure greed and that weird competition they have over who have the biggest number that they or even their great grandchildren are not gonna spent in their lifetime.

Having said all that, if this dude wins he is gonna disappoint so many people.

Whenever someone uses the term “socialist or socialism” in negative connotation, especially when it comes to policies having the audacity to take money from the ultra rich to benefit the rest of society they earn it from…it shows their uninformed bias and evil intentions to push propaganda

America LOVES socialist programs. Socialist programs thrive. The populous is just dumb and racist so they don’t see it. Certain ppl have done an excellent job over the years demonizing socialist policies and ppl fell for it

It’s no problem with anyone making as much money as they want. The issue is the government letting them get out of paying the right amount of taxes.

A mothafukka should be able to earn and accumulate whatever they are able to. If they are able to earn and accumulate 1 Billion dollars or more, no broke ass nikka should be able to stop them.

Came in here to bring up Luigi
It's like people don't actually stand for anything. The Luigi situation had both conservatives and liberals happy and saying fukk the billionaire class. What happened since then? All they need to do is throw out the word Communist to get ppl off their square
