Either invest the money into housing, businesses, etc. Something productive for the city or get that income taxed. No one should just be sitting on a billion dollars.
The system is flawed due to racism, oppression and the rich staking laws. That is separate from the actual system itself. The actual system of unlimited opportunity is better than socialist garbage that essentially says everybody get to eat Lobster 24/7. Especially those who don't deserve it, don't contribute or barely contribute economically.Sure, ambition and drive can take someone far, but the system we live in isn't built to reward merit or talent equally, it's designed to concentrate wealth in the hands of a few. The reality is that for most people, opportunities are heavily shaped by factors like privilege, background, and access to resources, none of which have to do with their individual worth or work ethic.
There's no such thing as a "self-made" billionaire. That is a myth that ignores this systemic imbalance. When people rise to the top through exploiting workers, evading taxes, or raping the environment, they aren't creating real wealth, they're extracting it. And people like that shouldn't be allowed to exist.
Good and he's right. They shouldnt exist.
That is the system thoughThe system is flawed due to racism, oppression and the rich staking laws.
Yeah but if that rugged individualism doesnt make society on a macro level work well, then that is a problem that should be logically rectified.A billionaire is not obligated to fix problems. It's nice when they do, but it's not a requirement.
The stupid statement of "there should be no billionaires" goes against economic piece of the term "free society". The point of making money is to be rewarded for your labor/talent, etc. Saying "you can't make any money anymore" for your continued labor is leftist/socialist authoritarian garbage.
The poverty line will always exist. He's right. We shouldn't have billionaires in a society where the vast majority of people are well before the poverty line.
It makes no sense and we've all been convinced to never question it
So?The poverty line will always exist.
What does this meanThe poverty line will always exist.
Came in here to bring up LuigiWatch all the poor people go against him now lol
