@JamesCannon i got this one. Yall are totally ignorant to how big a role music plays to the subconcious. How dense can u be to not realize that the music encourages nothing but negativity and hatred. Its a fuel added to the fire of impressionable minds. Minds that are not being taught right from wrong by a positive influence. These rappers ARE father figures to alotta these young kids. I worked in a youth detention center before and i know firsthand the influence negative rap has on the mind. Music PERIOD has a "spirit" and the constant drilling of hatred, materialism, violence and promiscuity does have a subconcious affect on a persons mind and soul. Yall keep saying the same shyt, that rap isnt the root cause of the problems. Wel no shyt. I said that in the OP. But u have to be a complete idiot or stil young to not see that its fuel added to the fire. @CrimsonTider what the hell u talkn bout?:what:
Nah you the ignorant one, if anything you just taking away from the cause against the system that created these rappers by acting as if these rappers are the problem. Kids are impressionable as hell, thats undeniable, but at the end of the day these rappers convince no one to pick up a gun and start robbing, poverty does. I guess we should ban the music those Columbine shooters listened to, because clearly Marilyn Manson and not getting bullied everyday was the reason they picked up a K and shot all those people.

We should also be :stylin:that Bobby SchMURDA is a 1-hit wonder. Now we need the ending to Young Thug's career to happen soon. If u dont know why then u are really blind to what the powers that be are doing to the black community thru destructive poisonous rap. And no, im not saying they are the CAUSE of our problems so dont come in here with that.:camby: As a black man you should celebrate the downfall of every puppet rapper being used to numb the black youth's minds
This post is an insult to black youth everywhere
and is really the same as the bullshyt spouted by those
Larry Elder and GOP chick types.

You have a dark soul. Chief Keef's negative energy and messages aligns with your spirit. The uplifting, positive song i posted contradicts your dark energy. It makes you feel uncomfortable. my "argument" is that this poisonous rap is casting a negative "energy" and "spirit" over the black community
I rather listen to Chief Keef.

And you are not bolstering your argument at all.

I don't even know what you're trying to say here, breh. Must have had autocorrect, lol.

Stop being a dumbass, you mean?

What do I have to do with this thread?

It was an autocorrect error but, you were expressing the same nonsense in that K.Lamar thread that the OP is expressing.

This thread further illustrates just how wrong you are.

@CrimsonTider why is it "nonsense" to suggest that these rappers have a major influence over the youth? Were u alive when Cam had cats rocking pink? Rocking snapbacks, throwback jerseys? Drinking certain alcohol? U do know that rappers are SO influential that companies throw money at em to name-drop brands in their raps right? You yourself has been influenced by a rapper in sum way whether u want to admit it or not

This. @MegaTronBomb! @CrimsonTider how does the "spirit" of this song make yall feel inside?

what does the "spirit" of this song have to do with anything?

and why does it have to make me feel any particular way?

If i don't feel the same way about this song that you do....is that a problem? Or are you right and i'm wrong for feeling differently?

Y'all just gotta keep it 100, and admit that gangsta rap isn't for you....and quit trying to stand on some moral high ground to validate why you don't enjoy it.

A lot of y'all just can't accept that certain things simply aren't for you, and aren't to be catered to your liking.

Yep. And in hindsight alotta that is poison also. I was the biggest Bone fan growing up but when i listen to it now i cant help but to admit that the content and messages are no different as todays rap. Only difference is that in the past u had to actually have rapping talent and there atleast was a balance of positive mixed in. You could hear Pharoah Monch, Mos Def, Talib on mainstream radio. Nowadays their is ZERO positivity. This includes the downfall of R&B also
