Black Engineer advice to young men: Don't date seriously until you're 30

Breh, the quality women your age and older are mostly already snatched up by time you reach your mid 30s. Sure you can date younger women (hence me saying it's easier to get laid at this age; you'll have such a wide age range of potentials to sleep with), but by your own assertion most of them aren't ready for marriage.
The only logical conclusion is that it's best to maximize the number of years that you're actively looking for quality woman. Whether you find one in your 20 or 35 you’d best hold on to her. You don’t have to put a ring on it at 22, but don’t just let it go all willy nilly.

I agree but, at the same time I don't agree. I agree with you because I recently turned 30 and no longer can call myself a young dude. But, I still regularly entertain girls in their 20s like you said. Im handsome, still young looking, making money, and as long as that's all still the case, for me and or any dude, you shouldn't have problems meeting women. And I see that's the case for older men I know in their later 30s and 40s. Even 50s. But of course, they're getting age appropriate women for their age bracket. So I agree there. Quantity ain't the problem. But, quality though? I've only truly loved one girl in my entire life. I fukked that shyt up and she left me and got married. I regret that shyt to this day. With the women I've been with since I've met girls I could see myself being with for the long term but, nothing that replaced what i fukked up. I don't know yet if Im merely romanticizing early loves or if im realizing what older people mean when they talk about "settling" for good enough vs. being with someone that you truly wanted. So I don't know if I agree there. Real quality gets snatched up dumbfast. If you find real quality that you know is the one, you need to wife her up. Don't be on no another bus coming type shyt. Yea, there might be multiple other buses coming but, that don't mean they're equal in any sense.

IDK, the person you are changes when you get older IF you experience a lot of different things in life. If you just take what you THINK is the best for a specific time, that doesn't mean it will stay like that. This is one reason why people who get married young have a higher rate of divorce.
I do get what you're saying, don't get me wrong, but I guess I don't believe in the romance shyt when it comes to being with someone from your young years to forever, UNLESS you are just a regular 9-5 person who enjoys going to the movies on the weekends, and just living a life of someone who is content with living the daily routine. Those types should snatch up that first one that is right because chances are yall will be the same people as you get older. That way of living is actually more safe then couples who are always trying different things and being active in the world, because one of you might be more interested in doing certain things then the other, and that can slowly separate you, and yall just grow apart. You can try to prevent that from happening by communicating more, but that doesn't always work, it's a gamble when you live like that because some people just slow down as they get older.
It's not a simple answer for everyone, but really it is, just naturally get with someone who you have fun with. If it lasts, it lasts. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Just don't make a decision based on fear, when i did that, the shyt ALWAYS turned out wrong.
It is if you are in college and actively looking for a mate. When I was in college there were plenty of sistas in engineering classes with me.
shyt NSBE conventions got a truck load of sistas you can meet up female engineers there if you black and single.

Me personally I say marry whatever makes you happy and you can deal with. You do that....you will less likely be resentful of your mate.
Yep cause its all about time. Most folks who are married either met their spouses when they were young, in college or at work.
In school this will be the only time in your life that you will meet folks your age doing the same shyt you are doing. You will also have time to find out everything about them.
When you are out of school and in the real world with real responsibilities you basically have very little time to date or find out about folks. In school you have tons of free time. In school you take classes with folks and know about all the gossip on people. Any information on a female you can find out in a day or two. Now try that shyt in the real world. shyt it may take 6 months or more to find out info on a person.
Put it to you this way. When you are out of school working you will work say 8 hours a day if you don't have to do OT. Then say 1 hour each way to commute to work. That leaves 10 hours out of each day just for work.
Thats why its so hard for adults to date and why often times they date folks at work.
Be 30 stuck with scraps cause you let all the good ones get snatched up brehs

By 30 most good women have come across a man who’s noticed she’s a good woman and tried his best to hold on to her forever.

I was at school in NC when I met mine. I know a lot of my female classmates ended up in the DMV, Charlotte, or Texas. I would say those cities and states got em. I come across some here in ATL as well, and if I wasn’t tied downI would love to, but I saw not 1 engineering major I wanted to get at in school. And I don’t do the company ink thing even if I did see some potentials at work
Also, at T it was the IE chicks that were the baddest. Mech, Chem, and Comp Sci had em too, but the prettiest chick I saw was this stout, tall thang from Detroit. She was an Environmental Engineer.
Civil engineering women were overall
