Breh, don't even get me started. "New Slaves" was the last SHRED of hope I had for Kanye.

So sad to see a paragon of hip-hop devolve in such a way. Thank god Kendrick, Donald and others have been filling that void.



Also, this is the only time I actually have heard nikkas actually BLAST Donald Glover with the window down. Besides "Redbone".

Yep, video is fairly straight forward. My only problem is the timing/hype with all of this, especially when other cats/artist have tackled the same topic equally if not better, BUT get slandered for it whether offline or online (the coli). Its like half of the folks giving the video praise fall into the category of what breh is talking about.

I mean It's obviously up to interpretation, but the video literally entails black people killing black people.

I can respect your interpretation, but you kinda gotta reach to make it there. Talk of possession or mischief gods which was seemingly never even mentioned or alluded to in the video. Not one white person causing harm or manipulating the situation to cause the black people in the video to behave that way.

Your interpretation seemingly adds too much, to make it into what you want it be.

That was my first impression. That many people were going to think this was about black on black violence when it's not.

Violence happens in America in a lot ways. Guns are the only one used in the video in the foreground prominently. The guy has a sack over his head like a lynching so it's obviously not about black on black violence. The church shooting with an semi-auto isn't about what a black person did.

The video being about our reaction to violence against blacks without actually featuring a white person.
