He's been top ten since '13. If that wasn't widely acknowledged, then he was underrated. He didn't get so much better last year that he randomly jumped from not top ten to arguable best in the game.

No he hasn't breh,he wasn't even considered a top 5 PG at that time yet,how was he top 10 overall?:what:

Majority of cats had Russ,Rose,Paul,Wall,Kyrie over Curry.

I've reached the point where I just think many of you guys aren't very bright.

A.I's scoring isn't a testament to his skill level but rather him taking more shots.

I loved A.I but there are plenty of players you could haven't given 29-30 shots per game and they would have just as easily averaged 30-32 points.

He never shot 29-30 times a night tho:what:

His career average FGA is 21 most he shot in a season is 27,and no my nikka you got it fukked up,nikkas not averaging 30+ a night in the league with a bunch of attempts you gotta be super talented to do some shyt like that, especially at 6'0 165 pounds, you nikkas hating extremely hard on Iverson

AI is the very definition of volume shooter

In fact I would have to check if Iverson ever shot 50% in a playoff series

Please point out to me these misinformed cats that had John Wall (33 games missed & not better when healthy), Derrick Rose (82 games missed lmao the fukk) and Kyrie Irving (23 games missed & not better when healthy) over him in '13. Now I'm just waiting for you to throw Rondo into the equation.

Paul and WB were his competition, not the other three. Again if it wasn't widely considered that he was a top 5 PG at the time, then that means he was severely underrated.

Man I'm not about to do all that, cats had Russ,CP,Kyrie and Wall over Curry for sure.

And regardless even IF Steph came in at 3 at the PG position, he still doesn't make top 10 overall in the league, so which ever route you wanna take he wasn't recognized as a top 10 player in 2013 period.

There's no small sample size, AI dominated the league for like 5+ years straight.

His finals run was about as impressive as it gets considering what he was working with.

Currys having one amazing year. One of the Best ever. We all know that. But it's still one year. So who really has a small sample size. I'm sure curry will have many bad games like he did vs the Spurs if his career lasts another 5-6s years and defenses really start going at him.

And Ray Allens one of the goat shooters and 2 guards in NBA history so :manny:

He's one of my favorite players too so you're preaching to the choir:jawalrus:

One amazing year? :what:

So what would you call last year where he was league MVP & NBA champion?

There's a league MVP every year. Also there's like hundreds of NBA champions. We're taliking all time greats. The standard is higher. Currys performance this year puts him in the conversation.

Right. it's hard enough getting that many shots off in the NBA at 6 feet let alone making them. plus Iverson was also dishing out 7 + assists some of those seasons, as a shooting guard mind you, and leading the league in steals.:banderas:

He was a one man team. He had to shoot alot. Who else was gonna score :mindblown:

I don't know maybe Stackhouse, Larry Hughes, Kukoc, Coleman, Van Horn and every other player who couldn't play with Gunner Grossman.

LOL @ one random ass regular season game being the impetus for this amount nonsense

Never change Coli

There's like a curry vs iverson thread that's like 10+ pages where I've said the same things said in here only weeks ago.

There's another curry thread where I say the same stuff about curry.

http://www.thecoli.com/threads/how-...t-finisher-at-the.410471/page-7#post-18307434

And there's WAY more threads than that.

I've been saying the same stuff all season, and especially since all the band wagoners have been making curry out to be some type of Goat player.
