@bdizzle do IT jobs generally drug test and do they allow you to move frequently? (ie: could you move almost anywhere and still find employment?)
It depends. If you're being directly hired perm by a company, you'll likely have to get a drug test. Also, a lot of recruiting agencies will require drug tests as well. However, I currently contract at a fortune 100 in ATL and wasn't required to do a drug test.
I don't know if I understand the last part of your question but if you're good, you'll have work on any part of the globe.
Only regret is not going harder for more at the time and starting earlier.

. They don't require a degree. The job descriptions always say the same thing. Bachelors or relevant experience. Masters or relevant experience. And the jobs that typically don't require a degree are the entry level jobs like help desk.
