Reminds me of when they pulled the plug on Lawbreakers. I actually loved that game and somehow I have the shyttiest luck with games that gets shytted on:

There should be a YouTuber to cover dead games because this shyt is giving me the willies

Brink had so much potential but boy oh boy was that launch bugged. I think if it had a bit more polish, it could see some moderate success in todays landscape. Had a simple approach with its classes and body types.

The level cap was a joke and a half as well. It all around sucks because the game had legs. I mean, the parklor was the foundation for games such as Titanfall. Sadly, the botch launch just killed the chances for a Brink 2 :mjcry:

I'm kinda bias, but, game developers are copy cats

Notice nobody tries to make Battle Royales anymore

I was so glad Anthem failed because we got The Mass Effect Remakes...they literally threwn Andromeda to the C team because the A team was working on it

:kanye:
Game developers certainly are copy cats. :wow:

everyone trying to do their own spin on things when one thing makes it big. shyt happened with MMO's back when WoW exploded. Then military shooters when COD exploded. Then hero shooters.. then brs.

Always ends the same tho outside of maybe 1-2 games finding a base.. the rest fall into the garbage heap

Once Andromeda got its issues ironed out, it was kinda piff tho :yeshrug:

Lmao Andromeda took everything that was loved about Mass Effect (World building, characters, choices, narrative, team oriented combat) and made it less interesting. I guess if you want an average sci fi shooter with decent graphics but there are games that we’re doing Andromeda’s game play look 10x better over a decade ago,
This is the problem with video games about comic book characters

Strength scaling

You had Capt America, Thor and Hulk having to punch human beings about 15 times to get them down

They should've used different Avengers as the main characters

They poured jelly on themselves because you are 100% correct

But, Infinity War was fresh in our minds and comics are a visual medium

The next Batman game isn't gonna have Kevin Conroy and they

You know what super hero game did this pretty well? Justice League Heroes. Characters felt distinctive, had strengths that suited them, and felt appropriately strong for there enemies.

Superman throws cars, blows enemies back with single punches, can literally power through multiple enemies, etc. He tends to operate alone because he can do it all.

I looked this up and saw they got a new one coming out. Justice League Cosmic Chaos, it look like kiddie versions of them tho. Y’all heard of this?

The fact that these two bullet points:

These include “Patrol Mode,” a free-roaming mode set in the game’s largest map that would see players accepting “Boss Bounties” to challenge the title’s antagonists in unique encounters, among other smaller objectives.

This update would have come alongside “join-in-progress” functionality, allowing players to drop in and out of fireteams without interrupting gameplay, a working prototype of which I’m told was in testing last summer.

Were "in development" almost a full three years after the game came out is absolutely fukking insane, and is proof that this game probably did deserve to fail.

How in the fukk could you launch a GaaS game thinking you're good without free roaming areas, and the ability to add and remove people from a group on the fly, when Destiny figured that out for everybody in 2014?

Matter of fact, we all should've known what it was when the game launched, and you couldn't have more than one of the same character on a team. :dead:

Never really figured out how to complete the main campaign and there weren’t any bosses that made it seem worth the trouble

shyt was doa

I was mad af i bought this lmao

These dudes don’t get it. Live Service games are lightning in a bottle. It’s hard to stand out unless you are EXTREMELY EXTREMELY GOOD and you have GREAT consistent content.

And that’s the bare minimum to get people off Destiny/Fortnite/etc because you have to convince people to throw away the time they put into their chosen live service game.

You really just need that addictive gameplay loop, look at vampire survivors the developer used to make casino games.

You need a good hook, you can’t just make a standard action game and then gate progression and cosmetics behind MTX and expect a hit
