I've noticed that. The majority of the Black kids at my expensive school are crowded into BS majors (I am too, but I can go into Accounting, and am going to law school in a year). From what I read, it didn't control for major.
Most Black people don't want to work hard in college. Life is one big party for most nikkas. That is, until they reach 32 and realize they have a long life ahead of them and that they didn't put in the work in those early years to establish themselves.
shyt gets real in your 30s if you haven't laid the proper foundation for your life.
30s can be the best decade of your life or the worst decade.
There are almost no Black kids in Engineering, Physics, Pre-Med (two of the girls that are have trash GPAs and won't make it past the MCAT), or Mathematics.
And because our families push "college" instead of "successful major and career afterward" a lot of Black kids go, pick Communications, smoke and drink all 4 years and then write long Tumblr articles about how this generation is screwed employment-wise, and that college is a big scam.
