It's cool and all but I prefer working for my own shyt, I need my own satisfaction from my own hard work if you know what I mean
This is how I feel/think:
I don't want to ask anyone for anything and/or have to explain what's wrong. I've been lucky enough to be able to sort any dilemmas out on my own, without falling on my face.
My thinking is also kinda negative/warped about people's (yes, even family & friends) intentions, expectations and motives when they help. I just think lots people act a certain way when they think you need them...

As long as he wasn't being a bum and legitimately trying I don't see anything wrong with this. Some people need a lot more help than others to get started in life, and it just sounds like he's a good breh who hadn't been given an opportunity before her.
Personally, I couldn't allow a woman to do this (let alone admit it if I did). I'm my father's son, so I'm reluctant to accept help even if I'm struggling. :kanyebp:

Yup,No need for us to try to paint a pretty picture like he was some young man with so much potential and hussle,because we don't know that.
No need for us to paint her as a woman who saw a vision and saw his potential when no one else did,because maybe she was thirsty and was just buying him like you said. Oh I see what is wrong. It is a risky investment. I'm not in their life, so I don't know the story behind all of those bullet points. She chose to help him out though, and that investment is leading to marriage, and hopefully leads to a good ending.
